Update on Reese, McKnight & Mostella

Pretty sure UK is the poster child for highly rated players. You might want to pick a different school as an example of success with a bunch of guys that don't get offers.

Hopefully after this yr, it will be Tennessee lol

That's much different than your original post...

Do some guys fly under the radar? Absolutely, Chris Lofton is a good example of someone who did. However, saying "the most talented players are often unranked" is complete BS.

The NBA drafts the best players available, out of 30 first round draft picks, remove the international guys, and about 95% of 1st round picks are guys who were ranked coming out of high school.

Just to add on to that; numbers show top ten guys (with lots of offers) are pretty close to locks to play in the NBA.
Data suggests top-10 prospects are virtually guaranteed to make NBA

All and all the best talent is passed up because coaches see game film see scouting reports and don't see that guys name in the books but when you throw them into a practice facility they go harder and are usually the fastest improving players

True I'm in high school but I've also watched and played basketball since I was 3 so don't come at me with that bs

Agree. DT said he was going after the best. Still don't understand offering the kid from Walters St.

That's a bit worrisome, I agree. Hopefully it was just "politics" or "doing a favor". If he starts signing those kind of projects I may go bury my TV in the yard during basketball season.

Sounds to me like you feel you aren't getting noticed. That's fine, but the most talented aren't sitting back and getting screwed over while lesser talented kids are going to Duke, ky, etc.

No,no d1 school besides ky has even contacted because he lives in a town with a population of 200 and a crime rate of 55 deaths every 6 months

Pure gold here. DB, give it up. Plain and simple, you are flat wrong. And it's not even debatable. Just take your lumps and move on.

This thread got it's one-way ticket to crazy town overnight.
