I'll have to disagree. God cares about everyone and everything. I don't think he chooses sides and I try not to ask God for things in a selfish manner. However, in sports as well as other aspects of my life, I ask that I can perform to the best of my abilities.

Nice post. I totally agree. I admire his stance. I have been making that same stance for 30 yrs. now and I don't plan on quitting now. :good!:

Can this thread die? It depresses me off everytime I read the name Randy Shannon.

And yeah, go ahead and jump on me about how my life sucks or whatever... Because honestly, when it comes to this football team, yeah, my life does suck.

The AD is keeping a tight lid (as it should be) on our current search for coaches.

On the other hand, why should he? If he leaves the speculation afloat, it increases his publicity to potential other places he could land.

I'm glad you can see it in a positive light. All any of this says to me is that it's going to be a massively underwhelming hire.

Me too, but I remember when we had Kurt Warner at QB and Reggie White as Minister of Defense, so I'm not so impressed with a fullback who hits less than 50% of his passes.

Shannon is still out there,,, I think he has a plane ticket for next Tuesday on Allegient Airlines super saver into Knoxville,,, out of Ft Lauderdale. No seat reservation because it was an extra 14 bucks.

Don't go hatin' on Allegiant! Although the flight out of St. Pete or Pt. Charlotte is much better because of the small airports.
