Guys jackson was at the seen apparently he told nuke and edwards they needed to go... but if he is around next year then that will be spun as him trying to stop the crime

This, you don't punish someone for a crime they didn't commit. Come on guys....

agree... if he was not involved and did not know it was going to happen then you can not punish him for it. This is why they have to get to the bottom of things before they make a decision. If he had any part at all in it, even if he was a look out man or anything he has to go.

If JJ knew what was going on...He needs to be gone,If he bummed a ride to go get something at the store and these 2 went stupid and he tried to get them to come on thats a differnt story...A case could be made either way for JJ if he stays and is suspended or Goes....

Being in the car with drugs, a ugly woman, and two idiots from your team that just tried to rob somebody is enough to get kicked off the team. not to mention he was suspended from the last game.

How could JJ just walk up on this?? It's 2 am on the Strip. It's not exactly close to Gibbs Hall either. If Kiffin cut Warren for back talk, JJ will definitely be gone too. It sucks, but it must be done.

Unless you tell me he jumped out of a three story window and ran barefoot through a briar patch to help his friends who were out at 2am when they all have an away game in three days, I won't ever feel good about him being on the team.

I am hearing around campus that he did just walk up on it, like what is being rumored. I have seen some football players, and they are noticeably not happy. FWIW, for some reason I am also hearing that Edwards and Nuke are already gone. Why this is weird is that they are still in custody and havnt seen CLK.

I have no idea what really happened, but how could he "just walk up on it" at 2am?? I'm just saying........

Problem is perception and if JJ stays it looks bad keeping the star player around...just imagine the commentary.

But if he wasn't involved and charges are dropped and he was trying to stop them or just get them out of there then some leniency is warranted.

However, Jackson does have the failed drug test against him and one other violation of team rules.

So, if this is the third strike then he must go.

Again, I think JJ is a stud who could be our best player next year. However, bottme line is yesterday at 7 pm he said to the media he was sorry for getting suspended. 6 hours later he is out in a car and this goes down? He needs to be gone on stupidity alone. Lane needs to set a tone that nobody is above the program. (unless you are a 3rd generation punter.

Okay, so I work with a girl who is aparently friends with the bouncer who was in the JJ rumors last week. She brought it up (how JJ hit him at New Amsterdam), and I told her that she was incorrect because that whole story was apparently fabricated.
So...she just texted him, "Is Janzen the one who hit you when you were at work"
He replied, "Yes. Edwards was there too, but Janzen was the one who hit me. I had to have dental work done, and I still have a bruise. His chain got ripped off in the fight, but I wouldn't give it back to him."
I added punctuation and fixed his spelling errors.

If JJ charges do in fact get dropped then we should applaud him in a way. He tried to help he teammates get out from doing something very stupid. For all we know he may have seen them and just went to say hey and saw what they were doing. We have to keep an open mind with JJ. There are sooooo many posibilities that could have happened.

Agree. There are many possibilities. Hopefully everyone comes clean and we find out what really happened.

I hope it all works out. Hopefully he didn't have any involvement and the latter is true.

Video should show if Janzen exited the vehicle or not. If video shows him walking up to Pilot or arriving at the Pilot in a different vehicle and then getting into the Prius, he might have a chance to get out of this. If he rode over there with them, I don't see how he can remain on the team.

if they were together when arriving to Pilot, and they (Nuke and Edwards) decided to do this while JJ was inside, without knowledge of the situation, and JJ walked outside and saw what was happening and decided they needed to bail out.. that would be considered "just walking up" on it.

Sorry, this isn't a court of law, the Constitution does not apply. If everything that Basilio has been saying (and he's even backed up Hyams - think about that for a minute) about JJ's conduct all season is true, then Kiffin needs to send JJ packing. This guy is going to be a problem as long as he is here, we cannot have this with what Kiffin is trying to build at UT.

Did he know there were drugs in the car? The female said the drugs were hers.

Did he know that Nuke and Edwards were going to attempt armed robbery?

Until those facts come out, he doesn't deserve to get kicked off the team. Suspension most definitely for violating curfew right after he was suspended for the Memphis game.

When people say he just walked up on it, are they saying he ran into them at the pilot or at Gibbs right before the arrest/

At pilot and then got in the car with them...

If true, that is a very bone headed move. He was probably just trying to help and figure out a way around this, but very stupid on his part... if true.

If the police find that JJ had no involvement in the incident and drop all charges then he is declared innocent. If he is innocent then what do you do to somebody being at the wrong place at the wrong time?

Everyone wants to convict and punish, including me, but this is America. As fans we need to take a breather and let the truth be determined and the powers to be make the decision.

He broke the rules twice in a one-week span. He's gotta go.

As long as we have our coaches, we'll be fine. I don't see CMK getting busted with a bag of grass anytime soon.
