After being back on campus for a week, and talking to people close to the football team. It sounds like we will be running a Up Tempo check with me offense similar to Oklahoma St. at times. Not saying this will be our base offense, but look to see this at least a few drives a game.

Would be absolutely, completely, more than totally fine with this. Encourage it.

Do it until they stop us.

They would have no reason to lie to me, everyone knows that Chaney would love to open things up. He finally has the players to do it with thats for sure

Boooooooooooooooooooooom! I can't wait to see bray and company out on the field with this offense. I've been reading a few blogs about it too, and many are pointing to the same type of offense.

Addition to my earlier post:

I undestand that "do it until they stop us" is simplistic. And it is not that simple.

BUT... I think that running a no huddle style would improve the run game. With multiple formations and hopefully three WRs that can block. Draw plays when the defense is on their heels. I can just see it working more than coming out of the huddle with two TEs and running left. For 1 yard. Again.

Not even really Arkansas.

At the risk of bringing up the Voldemort of Volnation... possibly "usc-ish"

Yeah I shouldnt have said OK St as they use signs, but it will be where Bray is signaled in 2 to 3 plays at a time and its his pick based on how the defense lines up

been mentioned several times this summer that this offense will be an option. However with our defensive questions it had better work very well or we'll be dead before half

Well Channey is already familiar running Kiffy's hurry up

Exactly. Flame away, but that is the model.

Da'Rick and Hunter will be deep enough into the offense to be able to play any and all WR spots. Hunter already has this skill in the UF game before he went down.

And it's just a fact that Hunter and Da'rick can destroy defenses underneath and ONE slip up or one on one match up means a deep throw.

Touchdown or Checkdown, as Tyler Bray said last year before everything went into the *****er.

This benefits Neal, as well, who can run the ball every once in awhile, but also may be our 3rd or 4th best WR.

Im excited for it, we all hope that the defense is much improved and I think it will, but theres gonna be a couple games where our best shot at winning may be a shoot out

Yeah, I've heard several rumbles around that is the case. I haven't heard ok state as the model though.

I think the new UT camera guy on here reported the fast offense, and I think he may have referenced oki state.

Nm- I guess it was aTm.
