Unofficial Coaching Search Thread

If the Mizzou job comes open, we have competition. Many would argue it's a better job.

Still has nothing to do with our search..We will most likely have a coach in place before any of this stuff takes place....I seriously doubt Haith is leaving Mizzou

Because we will pay you like a top 30 coach even though your average RPI finish is 66. Heck, if you luck up and manage to score a top-50 RPI once in a while, we'll give you a big raise.

What about it your RPI is actually in the 30s and you have your team ranked in the top 25?

Trent Johnson left LSU for TCU, Tubby left UK for Minnesota. Coaches read writing on the wall.

Would you hire this resume? I would guess he could be had for 1.5M easy.

Head coach since 1997, Record of 315-209, 4-4 in NCAA, 10-6 in NIT, 0-1 in CIT, One NIT championship, 4 league titles.

Hell of a lot more than CCM had.

Tommy Amaker, head coach, Harvard.
Previously at Seton Hall, Michigan, and asst at Duke.

Hart should probably leave the zoo and hire a bball coach before Mizzou gets busy calling coaches

What Dooley connection? I believe Dooley hired his predecessor at LT. Hence White's accomplishment of turning around the program

Dooley connection is a bad way to word it. I just meant hiring people from LaTech brings up bad memories.

Of course, there's a big difference between someone who has a track record of winning at LaTech (White) and someone who has a track record of losing at LaTech (Dooley.)

Tulsa is in final negotiations to hire Missouri's Frank Haith, barring a last-minute collapse in talks, a source told ESPN.

Anybody know if Danny Kaspar is on the coach search list? He would be another hire I could see UT making. I think he is current the defendant in a pending lawsuit, but he has been winning at Stephen F.
