All seems reasonable so far.... The athletic department and the involved programs took action which bodes well for this being an acceptable penalty from the 'AA.

i read what what they were self imposing,but what is included on probation?

a 2 year probation means if you step on acrack in the sidewalk during that 2 years, they can really hammer you.. secondaries could be much wrose than a secondary for example.

We can only hope the 'AA will look at the big picture and see that our scholly situation is in bad enough shape as it is. It seems we have self imposed(with the 3 coaches in 3 years effect on attrition) some pretty strong penalties on ourselves when u look at how many freshman and sophomores we have right now.

Will it matter? I know that there is a tournament for every loser team out there now, but I don't see UT making the big one for a couple of years.
