I was watching an old game (UGA 1995) and was wondering who made our uniforms then before Adidas took over. Symbol resembles a cursive A. I thought it was Champion but.....I guess not.

Actually, they did. They continued manufacturing the uniforms for Adidas thru 2001, and produced samples of alternate black jerseys, pants, as well as a few "different" home jerseys. None of them were ever worn, but they were considered.
There were also black basketball uniforms made by Sports Belle for Adidas that were actually shipped as a complete set for possible use by Jerry Green's 1999-2000 team. They never came out, but were still in storage, names and everything when Buzz Peterson's staff dumped them in a surplus sale during their tenure. They're out there somewhere.
