the fact that you compare an athletic department to a prison states everything in itself

I prefer our new uniforms in virtually every way minus the cheesy checkerboard on the helmets and pants.

When I heard they were going to incorporate the checkerboard, I immediately thought "meh"...they pulled it off. It looks good.

I prefer the "matte" styled pants. Was disappointed that we never wore them to an away game. White on orange is my favorite road combo.

They wore a Nike Pro Combat uniform in 2010 that featured houndstooth numbers and a houndstooth stripe on the helmet.

Tide will wear new Nike uniform on Nov. 13 in home game vs. Mississippi State | AL.com

Thankyou, I couldn't care less about bama's uniforms. I'm as traditional as they come, but not scared of trying new things. The checkerboard stripes are unique to us, just like our orange hue.

All of them, actually. I wish they would do like Oregon. Hear me out.


Not necessarily with all the crazy schemes(even though I'd like that), but a version of all the uniforms we've worn since about 1990.

I know many of you hate change, and that's okay. But I'd love to see the big numbers or the all white storm trooper with the T on the thigh.

I can't stand the sloppy under shirts. They need to clean that up a bit.

I wish we would break out the grey unis more, like a white helmet grey jersey and white pants with white cleats and socks. Or grey helmet white jersey and grey pants, socks, and cleats or white helmets white jersey and grey bottoms or grey helmet orange jersey and grey bottoms and cleats. If we're going to have grey unis we should mix them up more I think the storm trooper look with a grey jersey would be one of the best looking unis in football
