That our defense is whats losing us games this year so quit blaming bray and hunter hell if it wasnt for them and cp we would lose by 40 every game.Gettin tired of people calling out bray and hunter..Do you not remember the simms and crompton days?? When we finally do get a 1st round qb you people dont appreciate him I mean yea he hasnt played perfect but who does? Bottom line our offense has carried us this year.

The defense is giving up too many points but Bray and Hunter need to start playing like they give a damn.

Bray is not a 1st round NFL draft pick, when you have to make excuses for things perhaps its time to start looking at things more objectively.

Hunter is playing to preserve himself for the NFL instead of playing to improve his status for the NFL.

Bray is reading internet blogs about his NFL ability instead of learning the QB position and becoming a leader.

The defense has the wrong personnel in place for a major transition to a different scheme. They will get there ... eventually.

The front 7 has improved but the secondary suck. Ain't nothing we can do is but to weather the storm and play with what we got back there it is what it is. We've got young talent back there but can't afford to throw them in there and risk getting them hurt and that will set us back depth wise. Then we'll really have nobody back there.

Bingo that's another factor, once they get the right personel for the 3-4 it's gonna run like a well oiled machine.

What is our Left Guard's record against SEC opponents? Or our Fullback's record against SEC opponents? As for sacks...Bray's quick release and ability to throw the ball away before he is sacked plays a big role in how many sacks Tennessee gives up - it's not just the offensive line.

This isn't golf where an individual controls the outcome. Tennessee put up 44 points against Georgia but still lost. Many blamed Bray, Hunter, CP, or Chaney for the loss.

Some on here critizie Bray by saying he isn't an NFL first round draft pick. So what? And what is the point if he isn't? There are lots of players on this team that aren't first rounders. Somehow blaming Bray for not being a first round draft pick is ridiculous.

Do I want him to play better? Of course. I want all the Vols to play better.

Just because the defense is terrible doesn't mean that Bray and Hunter have an excuse to play like a couple of pu*sys. I can understand a couple of ints or interceptions every so often but this is happening too often. They need to be accountable. Too many big plays have been left on the field.

Agreed. The defense did not throw two interceptions and fumble on the last three possessions against Georgia. Granted bray wouldn't have been in that situation if the D had done its job. However, it's those type situations that define a QB.

Bray = Lack of leadership and loses composure under pressure, don't know too many NFL teams looking for those characteristics to use on 1st rounders.

Our left guard and fullback didn't have 2 turnovers with 5 minutes to play with a chance to win against UGA. If you don't think the QB shoulders more of a responsibility for wins and losses than the left guard and fullback, then you are truly clueless.

How many times this season have we see #23 leave his underware on the filed when in position to make an open field tackle?

How many times have we seen a db/lb chase a receiver (from behind) as the receiver runs his route?

The dbs/lbs don't have the speed to play this game.

That is a recruitement/coaches error.
