Couple hundred million here, couple hundred million there, adds up to real money.
Being that a company's sole purpose is to make money for their stock holders, has the bubble burst on apparel deals? How are such huge advertising expenses justified to stockholders? It has to be hard to justify 280 million for one school to the IRS. Of coarse that figure for the apparel is at an inflated retail price with who knows how much add on expenses included for tax purposes but still a lot of money.
