Ga St almost beat bama last year they have that crazy triple option don't count your chickens before they hatch

They're also the same team that lost to South Carolina State by 27 points last week.

They also lost to Bama by 56 points. Not exactly a close game.

I think a lot of you guys need a couple of Valium. Settle down....the Vols won and controlled the game, but it was the first game of the year and NCST and not USC... Be optimistic just don't go crazy

Im sure the same was said when Wyoming came stumbling into Neyland...

I'm sure this Tennessee team is ions better than the team that lost to Wyoming. And I don't know what to say if you think there's any chance a team that lost to South Carolina State by 27 points will come into Neyland Stadium and get a win.

I know UT wont lose.

My point being regardless of how good a team is they should never over look a team.

I'm still worried we may not beat Florida. They've won seven in a row, even during years we thought we could win. And I'm afraid that if they stop our run game like they did last year it will become a long, drawn out game that will be decided late. I don't like it.

Agreed.

A Top 10 undefeated Tennessee team at home, #1 Alabama, Neyland rocking, Gameday, national television, possible SEC Championship Game preview, traditional rivalry....

That's worth the past 2 years alone. Just the shot.

This post truly gave me goosebumps... Just the thought puts a smile on my face. :):):)

We still have FLA to play which will not be an easy game. I do look forward to see how much we improve from game 1 to game 2 and 3. We played a good game Friday but there were some glaring mistakes, some communication issues on D and our run game needs to get a bit nastier for our SEC run. Not a negavol at all just being a realist. All this given the fact that Bama has new energy due to the fact that...

Lance Armstrong had to forfeit his 7 championships and now Bama has claimed them as their own. They are now more focused as they want 9 in a row.

Let's stay focused on Georgia State first

:acute:

As fans, we don't have to be focused on anybody. We can think about whatever we please, because we don't affect the attitude of the team.

I'm thinking ahead to the Kentucky game right now.

And guess what Georgia State was doing the week of the Wyoming game...

Nothing.

Because they didn't have a football program.

Who cares? That's the beauty of football. Things change from year to year.

This year we have the fastest, most talented team we have had in a long, long time.

When in the past decade have we been able to say, as a team, we are faster than UF and UGA? We can say that this year.

Sure you can say it, but that don't make it true. We are certainly as a team not faster than UF and maybe not UGA either, doesn't mean we can't beat either one, but chalking them up in the win column at this point is beyond premature though.

Did you watch Florida Saturday? I'm guessing you didn't.

We have SUPERIOR team speed. It's not even close.

If it makes you feel better to think it, then have at it, but you are wrong. We have better team speed than we've had in awhile but we are not overall faster than UF and to say so is foolish.

We are fast enough to compete and to win and that's all that matters.
