This game is fantastic. The zombie game or at least a taste of the zombie game most people have been waiting for. I'm glad it's doing so well and I'm looking forward to the sandbox mode which sounds even more awesome.

Same here - I haven't been able to find many details on the "pure survival" mode they are touting.

It's already a sand box game - GTA with zombies!!

With State of Decay 2 announced in wondering if it's worthwhile to go back and play this game. Somehow I never played it.

Anyone play this for any significant amount of time? Any feedback?

It was badass, Freak. I played the 360 version for an entire summer. You find survivors, recruit them, station them and give them jobs. Level up your shooting, endurance, melee, etc. If a character dies, they're dead. Scout new locations to fortify. Fight off hordes. Scavenge for materials, medicine, food, etc. Deal with other unfriendly groups, including some military. The only thing missing was co-op. It sort of felt like a smaller Red Dead/GTA game with zombies.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, coop would be nice.

It's one of the best indie games I've played; but I honestly don't buy many.
