I don't understand why this makes Hamilton look bad. He clearly didn't reach his decision to axe the game on his own and he now has NC cheating as part of his reasoning. Explain.

I would think that would be an option if (and only if) UNC ends up with some kind of postseason ban. That's why the Juniors and Seniors at USC got that option.

It won't. SMU got the guillotine because they were 'repeat offenders.' UNC, not so much.
