UNC/Syracuse

Carolina is currently losing 10-6 at halftime despite Syracuses QB going 1-11 on passing. You can't make this up.

Is this QB not a different one than the one we faced in August?

What happened? Injury or benching? I thought their guy did pretty well when we played

My apologies if they discussed the broadcast earlier, but I turned on the game at halftime

27-10 UNC. Glad for the win. If not for a fumble at the goal line against Cal and coming up one yard short against Virginia, UNC would be 5-3. I do hate that for Syracuse and their injured QB. This poor kid playing now looks a deer in the headlights Syracuse would have been a contender if not for that.

Honestly seems to me like UNC is playing a lot better right now. I get they lost the last two games, and Cuse is terrible without Angeli, but given the start to the season….. this is an improvement in every way.

Curious to hear about what you expect out of this team the rest of the way.

With their defense improving these past three games even with unfortunate losses, I'm a happy Carolina football fan. They've shown improvement and I really do think with the remaining schedule that they can win at least 3 and become bowl eligible. It really wouldn't surprise me.

What’s bad for TN is that Cuse was a good team when we played them - not a great team. They lost their QB and their backups have been horrible. To many, the TN win doesn’t look as good.

Yeah that's the problem with those ACC/SEC matchups in week 1. They are always based on the results from past seasons. When the matchup with Syracuse was scheduled, we were probably in the midst of our dysfunction. A few years later, and we were pretty good and Syracuse was the same.
