It was not a hit and run. The driver stopped immediately and called the police. No charges are expected. The kid was walking on a major highway not facing traffic

yea thats the way i view it, some people are forgetting that this was a college student only months away from graduating at one of the top universities

Having been in NYC last week,one thing is for certain, the NY and the NJ drivers,cars,buses,subways,drive like a bat out of hell, (to be frank),high speeds and leave very little room for error.Plus if you ever want to hear the most disrespectful mouths from today's youth, ride a subway where two or more are gathered,F this and F that.I have to be honest and say I did find myself wondering if they were here legally,and if so, are my tax dollars helping support this filth.:no:
