UNC and UVA

You pass on that 2 pointer.

If you are gonna run wide, you take the ball on the opposite hash.

I think trying to run to the edge on Clemson was a mistake in general. Clemson has too much speed to try that against. Should have ran off the right edge. Had success there all day against Clemson’s D line.

True he didn’t win at UNC in the first go but they weren’t exactly world beaters before he got there and he left them in better shape than when he got them.

We don’t know if Phil could’ve built up another program but from what we do know, Brown is the better bet to be able to do it.

Earlier in his career? Sure.

But Brown’s “rebuild” of UNC has a ways to go.

Yes. I just prefer the pass on two pointers. Extends play and allows multiple options.

He was out of the game for how long Post Texas? Also, had he not been at UNC, Brown likely doesn’t get an offer.

Regarding Phil, does anyone know how serious he was about coaching at other schools? I ask that seriously.
The Boston College and Clemson interest in 2008 after he had been fired was serious. The KU thing was more of a feeling out process, but the KU AD Lew Perkins wanted someone younger. He hired Turner Gill, which didn’t exactly work out.

I am still trying to figure out how UNC with 2 & 3 stars can take the #1 team 4 & 5 stars in country to the wire and we can’t beat GA St.

Seems like people are worried that bragging on Mack makes JP look bad. He does not need any help with that.

Mack is a couple of wins away from being UNC all time winningest coach. They are a crap football school year in and out and he inherited a mess both stints there.

Saying he should have won the ACC is like saying Kirby Smart is a bad coach because he hasn't win the SEC. FSU went years without losing a conference game back in the day.

I think I remember the BC stuff because if I’m not mistaken, the AD was a good friend of his and was actually the guy who recommended Clawson to Fulmer as BC interviewed Clawson previously for the HC opening.

LOL why you trying to move the goalposts? You asked the reason and I told you why.

As a program builder Brown is better than Phil, there’s no debating that. Hence why Brown is a better coach than Phil.

I actually liked the call to go for two by Mack. Clemson is deeper and has more of an advantage in overtime. I just did not like the call. How do you not have a run pass option in that situation?

IMO OT was the call there. Not bashing them for going for two, but you’re playing a better team

You said Brown is better equipped for a rebuild. I simply said yeah earlier in his career. UNC rehiring him was just a ceremonial thing that looked better than going the other mid major route. Had Brown had no previous experience at UNC, he likely gets no offers or interests. That’s based on the past years he’s been out of the game and received no offers

Dabo just said “They out played us and out coached us.”.

I really like him!
It just sounds/feels different when you won the game and you've not lost a game in forever. Pruitt said that after Ga St, without the same adoration...ha.

You are probably right.....I was so disgusted that I didn’t watch post game.

Something seems “off” with Clemson this year. Reminds me so much of Tebow's senior season at Florida . So much promise and everything pointed their way, except on the field.
