Mack won big at two different schools and is doing a good job in his second return stint to UNC. Did you see or hear of any schools trying to hire Fulmer after we fired him?

69-46 isn’t winning big at UNC.

Did you see any schools chasing down Mack after firing at Texas?

Good debate. Based on what?

Based on being a better program builder. He’s been a head coach at multiple schools and at each school he's built the program better than what he inherited.

Granted Phil only was head coach at one school, and he did good no doubt but if I’m getting a coach out of retirement to build my program back up Phil wouldn’t be the first call I’d make.

Nope but at least he got another job unlike Phil who couldn’t even get manage to land the Kansas or Boston College jobs....

Can’t blame Phil for sticking it out with tennessee instead of leaving and going to head coaching route earlier in his career. Not saying there were schools chasing him in the 80’s or 90’s but he also stuck it out at his Alma mater and waited his turn.

Also Mack went like 69-46 at UNC and never won his division or conference.

He was out of the game for how long Post Texas? Also, had he not been at UNC, Brown likely doesn’t get an offer.

Regarding Phil, does anyone know how serious he was about coaching at other schools? I ask that seriously.

I don’t buy the good call. They have kept Clemson pretty much shut down. I would’ve liked their chances to win in OT.

You pass on that 2 pointer.

If you are gonna run wide, you take the ball on the opposite hash.

True he didn’t win at UNC in the first go but they weren’t exactly world beaters before he got there and he left them in better shape than when he got them.

We don’t know if Phil could’ve built up another program but from what we do know, Brown is the better bet to be able to do it.
