I am still in shock from the sprint route where Zach friggin Rogers absolutely CRUSHED All American DB Amerson. Rogers left him in the dust and was open by 7 or 8 yards. This was our 3rd best WR and he DESTROYED NC State's best AA DB.

This was the most I've yelled in years during Vol games. Our dog was howling along side me.

Still in shock. GBO!!!!!! :dance2:

Don't get carried away! We all knew he was fast, and, well...ya can't teach speed. But sh%@!, made em look silly. I hope everyone scouts us like state did.

Yep! I think many were in shock. ZR was pulling away from Amerson as he crossed the
25. Smoked his azz.

Or people are shocked because Zach didn't drop the ball? Truth is, I was thrilled to see him make the play. He gets so much grief about having stone hands it was good to see him make a big play.

DD wasn't kidding. Truth in advertising... go figure.

Raise your hands , how many people jumped up and yelled White Lightnin' ! I think he made another tough catch later too.

Someone posted in a thread a few days ago that Amerson was good in zone but not man-to-man. Understatement of the young season so far.

White Lightning is finally coming into his own. He had all the skills and looks like he has improved his catching by a mile. He's probably our 3rd option now. I think we're going to be just fine. :)

This just shows teams that if any of our wr's get behind their d Bray will toast them. Carter, and his new schollie, caught 1 for 20 I think. When Croom and Pig get added its gonna get plain stupid.

Z Rogers also made a great catch over the middle for a much needed first down as we were approaching the Tennessee end zone. As much as I've doubted his hands, he stepped up last night. It's one game, so we'll see how he performs later.

Let's just call him him Zach or Rogers or ZR. Duh-other Rogers is a distant memory.

Zach was simply awesome in the dome. His performance will do wonders for the whole team. Tyler now knows that he can go anywhere with the ball - which absolutely worries the other team's DC.

This offense is going to create a lot of headaches for DC's on our schedule. And the best part is that we're only going to get better.

Heck man i live in the area and have kept up with him since highschool dude can freakin stroll! Every receiver is gonna miss some passes, but he'll miss everyone of them that is thrown to some one else! You miss 100% of the shots you dont take.-W.Gretzky (hope i spelled his name right.)
