I finally got to see the fake punt TD. Whoever was back to run that punt for Vandy looks like he completely gave up on the play. He at the least should have been able to make the UMass player angle to the sidelines and slow him down, but he let the guy go right past him.

I think the players are clearly turning on Mason.

The flip side is now you have to score a touchdown to go up no matter what, where if you converted the 2 a FG does it. It's a judgement call, but I can see the logic in going for it.
