just talking about fan support. Duke and Kentucky have a lot of basketball support which made them higher than the would have been if it was just football.
Im just saying the top half of the SEC is good in alot of different sports and get tons of support from their fan bases. As a Vol fan im supporting the Vols in EVERY sport not just football. I live in Georgia and believe me they support that stupid dawg in EVERY SINGLE sport. Even gymnastics. The SEC has the most passionate fan bases in the country. Sure OSU, Mich, Texas, Duke ect. get massive fan support but im not sure they could match Bama, Auburn, LSU, A&M, Fla, UGA, or GBO in terms of all around fan support. This doesnt even include what. Arkansas does in track, KY does in hoops or what Vandy does in baseball.

Duke has a better Football team that they have had since Cut arrived, the Lacross team is good; Kentucky's Baseball and Women's Basketball teams are pretty good. Football team is better in recent years. How that translates to fan support I don't know.
I didnt even know we played lacrosse in the SEC 😂😂😂😂. We had 7 teams finish better then Duke womens basketball and we had 8 teams finish better then Duke football. Their not even in the SEC's class when it comes to women's basketball support or SEC football support. That only leaves men's hoops and lacrosse (still dying laughing). Our schools still get massive fan support in baseball, softball, track, tennis, gymnastics, & swimming.

The only reason I remembered Duke had a pretty good Lacrosse team was that whole rape scandal involving their men’s team from a few years back that Rolling Stone magazine reported on…which by the way turned out to be fake news.

If you go all-sports with this, then the PAC-10 always has several teams in contention for the Director's Cup. I think Stanford won it last year. But that hardly translates to fan enthusiasm; my grandson played football for Stanford, so I went to several of their games and it wasn’t close to the intensity of an SEC rivalry game.
