Ultimate bandwagon fan base?

Here in Texas, mostly in my area it's been inundated with Alabama fans recently. In addition, some of the former Texas fans have taken off the longhorn decals and replaced them with ATM decals.

I flew thru LAX last month and even there the Bama fans were making a presence.
:disappointed::disappointed:

To be fair, Tennessee had their fair share of bandwagon fans in the 90s. I knew several who knew Peyton Manning and that's about it.

Tn has a higher unemployment rate than Bama and is the most dangerous state in the entire country.Sorry to destroy your delusions.

Those numbers are heavily skewed by Memphis. It is true though, TN is suffering some growing pains as it soaks up people relocating from the rust belt or west coast.

Dude it just depends on who's winning. I'd say Nashville only having crappy Vandy and the Titans to root for, no NBA team and no MLB team means we (I live in/work in Nashville) are a large cesspool of bandwaggoners. When I was a kid everyone here loved the Vols, then they loved Florida when it was Teblow and Urban, now it's bama. Baseball it's always been the Braves. Basketball it was the Bulls, the Heat, Lakers, etc etc etc

Nashville being a city that thousands move too I am sure some of the filthy bammers in Nash Vegas are from bammerland.

I think bammers and uf fans are at the top of the list

Btw i just wanted a few others opinions on something, The broncos are my favorite nfl team since they acquired Peyton manning before I was a huge colts fan for years.
So honestly I'm just a huge Peyton fan, is that such a crime? Does that mean I'm a bandwagoner?

Do you click onESPN.com everyday?

I'd say Bama based on my experiences. Grew up and lived in Nashville until 2001. Just moved back in August and there are Bammers everywhere, even people I know from high school that have no association to the school or state other than the fact that they are currently winning. Some of them used to be Vol fans.

Kentucky basketball is a pretty bad bandwagon fan base, and since there really isn't a great football team here( excluding Louisville bc they're not good IMO) these people say they're UK bball and ala football.

How the &$;@ can you be a fan like that?!?!

Suckiing them up?They are hiring Bammers over Tn people?

They are hiring both. That's how robust the economy is in Metro Nashville compared to the rest of the state and even that beacon of success that is known as Alabama. Birmingham is your best bet, but Metro Birmingham ranks lower in median household income than Nashville and even Memphis. So you might be creating jobs, but they must be podunk jobs - like sweeping up Walmart after one of your dumbarse football players drops the trophy in aisle 13!!:eek:lol:

Missouri sweatshirts have come out of the woodwork in Central Illinois the last 2 weeks

Here in Atlanta, auburn was REALLY bad during the year with Cam.

Atlanta was painted with auburn gear.

Less than a year later - all gone.

Anybody else notice there's suddenly several Ohio State fans running around? I don't understand. I always tell my grandson win or lose stay with the orange boy.

Here in florida i am seeing alot more power t's. Seeing alot more orange... Almost like 2000-2001. The best is wearing my orange to my sons' football games. People arent riding me as hard now and actually saying we are on our way back up.

Alabama is the ultimate bandwagon fan base. Since they won the first championship with Saban, Bama fans are everywhere in Memphis.

Absolutely. Pisses me right off too. I call em out too. Almost got in a fight with some tool down on mud island.

I see a lot of Orange down here in Central Florida as well. Most gator fans have gone into hibernation..or are rooting for FSU.

To me its always been Miami. During the 80s and early 90s everywhere I looked I saw Miami Starter Jackets. Shirts, Pants etc. The Dallas Cowboys would be a close second

Definitely bammers. The definitive evidence: droves of former Auburn "fans" can now be seen donning all the latest bammer gear. Nothing worse than a bandwagon than a bandwagon full of turncoats. Bammers have always sucked butt.
