Being serious for a moment but I'm glad the Germans are starting to get serious about their military again. During the Cold War the Bundeswehr was the pride of Europe and played a critical role in ensuring European peace and security. Since than it is fallen in a complete disarray and is a shell of its former self.

What was the defense industry ever going to do with them? The article makes reference to storage, but you don't buy something merely to store it.

Debating on if this deserves its own thread but for right now I'll post it here;

Sarajevo Dodiku: To mo

President Milorad Dodik, of the Bosnian Serb republic of Srpska, has announced that the Republika of Srpska will declare independence from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Right now that is the only website reporting it but if this is true it will cause more renewed headaches in the Balkans.

I'm sure Putin, the peace-lover, doesn't mind. Another way for him to further weaken Europe.

On a related note, South Slav languages amaze me. Only group of languages on Earth that can place 5 or 6 consonants directly together and still apparently form grammatically correct words.

Comrade Putin did met with him back in September. Like you I think Putin would love to see it happen. Not sure how Belgrade would feel though. They are trying to move closer to Europe but at the same time remain friendly with Moscow. This could put them at odds with both parties. I don't think this happens without express support coming from Serbia proper.

I particularly get riled when they find the audacity to blame the US for their current ills and problems. It's like, dudes, ya'll bunch of knuckleheaded ass hats have hardly ever gotten along or made things work. Stop blaming us for your general ****tiness.

Zacharkonazihead was saying the other day that his Nazi forces were ready for and expecting another fight (Translation: "We're about to escalate this up another notch but are going to make it look like Ukraine is responsible. Purty much what we've been doing this entire conflict.")

So, yeah, it's coming.

I'll say this: Russia has handled this like a work of art. It has really been something to watch. I'll tell my grandchildren about it one day, once historians have established the fact that it has fundamentally changed the international order. They've handled it so masterfully, you've still got idiots in the West still trying to pull their heads out their rectums to even see what's going on. "Well, this doesn't look like the US invasion of Iraq. Therefore, Russia could not possibly be doing this." Meanwhile, the history books are being rewritten.

Honestly, I just want to think Vlad. I feel honored to be watching this.

P.S. I know my Nazi thing with the Russian side and Ras/Pacer is probably obnoxious. I mostly just do it because it gets in their crawl. And they're all idiots. And, quite frankly, often act more like Nazis than the people they accuse of being Nazis. It's such a dumb tactic. I just try to give them an idea of how idiotic a tactic it is. The Nazis were the Nazis. And Hitler was Hitler. That's pretty much the end of it.
