it seems like they are skirting this by having the 'snap' drills all over the place. so they don't have the 13,000 limit at any one place. Unless there is something i don't know about.

Looks like in this whole fascist glorification of nation and Putin over Crimea that Putin is repeating a narrative that Russians and Ukrainians are one people and one nation. This whole idea has played out all day with his words and what the media keeps repeating. Seeing how this whole cult of personality love fest has gone today I'd be worried if I lived in Ukraine. Putin's tied reuniting Crimea to Russia and making statements about Ukraine along with that.

Seeing the videos and reading the stories, it really does compare to Hitler and Stalin. The only thing missing was "Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuhrer" being stated.

I saw where Putin wants to reestablish friendly relations between the two countries. I think that is possible only if he returns Crimea, pays for damages and loss of life in the east, and turns over all responsible military leadership to either Ukraine or to a war crimes tribunal.

I told Ras Putin selling Russia out to China would not fare well. China will drive a hard bargain and put Russia in a financial bind. China's found themselves a discount store on resources. They can drop kick everyone else and make Russia their resource slaves. Russians won't realize this until it it too late.

its buying, a lot. the article says Europe cut its import from Russia's oil by 9% and apparently that caused the Russia economy to quake. so if you add in China who has the demand of Europe as a whole it would be a huge boost.

China may have the demand but they definitely have the position to negotiate the cheaper price. They will never pay what Europe pays. Russia could make up for the volume loss but not the capital.

Ukraine bore the second-most casualties in absolute terms but, on a proportional basis, it suffered more than Russia, losing an estimated 25% of its population during the war.

Kiev offers a logical alternative to Moscow for V-E Day. Western diplomats and the Ukrainian government could structure a ceremony without a parade of war materiel (the Ukrainians don't seem to have a penchant for reviewing tanks and rockets). And the events could be designed to remember the losses suffered by all the Soviet people.

what it already has, it also goes hand in hand with them looking to expand into the south pacific. and they are crawling in bed with everyone who remotely has access to oil. They have tried a couple times to get Venezuela's crap oil and any access to the Gulf's oil as they can.
