Bottom line....I know you hate ANYTHING Russian and Putin, but this murder and the way it was performed just doesn't add up. This would be the last way a govt would take out an opposition.

So you quote him and attack me? Do you not see your own stupidity there? As well as all your other sources. Your own credibility is shot.

As for hating anything Russian, for you to say this means you have actually processed nothing I have said. Hard for me to hate anything Russian when I decry the murder of Nemtsov and all the other Russians who were actually interested in a truly free nation. I guess you missed me spending a lot of time there. Or speaking the language. Or having friends there. Or doing charity work there. Etc. Etc. Just do us all a favor and don't post comments. You do yourself a disservice for contradicting your own arguments and responding to others when you clearly have not listened to what they've already said.

The last way a government would take out the opposition? Clearly you have ignored all the countless other dead at Putin's feet. The man concocted a bombing of an apartment building of his own people to invade Chechnya and shell even non-military areas. The man has killed reporters, businessmen, and politicians. In broad daylight. In front of other people on the doorsteps. He's stolen businesses from people and pocketed billions. The man is one of the richest people in the world only having served as a politician and a KGB agent all his life. His three direct political opponents are deported, jailed, and now killed. If you think this move at 11pm at night is beyond or beneath Putin, you've ignored his history. Time to pull your head from your posterior and get out of the basement to see the real world. The US may be bad but you and Ras need to realize there are people out there that put anything the US has done to shame. To think a man who grew up in the USSR and was a high ranking officer in the KGB, learning from Stasi's dirtiest players, and calling Andropov his role model and mentor was not capable of this and many other things is naive at best.

Do you think Putin a good man?

If you decry media, and government media - translation is ONLY American media. Because government media in Russia is pure and innocent? Are you not following my argument here? You claim to have a problem with biased media. But clearly it is only for CERTAIN biased media. Your principles are skewed. If you cite RT or Pravda, etc. you are sourcing a very biased government media. But you claim to hate biased government media. What you really mean is that you only hate any American source. You have no problem with a fascist Russian media source. Then these other left field guys...just any ol' person on the street videos you and Pacer dig up with baseless claims and no credibility but you attack my credibility. If a FL slumlord is posted by you as a news source but you cry about someone who has actually spent a lot of time over the span of 26 years giving thoughts and analysis? Breaking news buddy but we're talking about the man who is steering events on the country that is the topic here. I know you just love to trash events here in the US every chance you can even in places where it is irrelevant to the discussion. You can tell me my question is irrelevant all you want. But in this topic alone (from what I understand you do this in others as well) you've done nothing but turn away from the ills committed by Russia - the same ills you claim committed by the US and are bad. Every time something is pointed out about Russia you deny those claims and go off on the ills of America. You then repeat the exact same statements that come from the same "evil" you say you hate. You are either a willing or naive apologist for the "evil" committed by Putin. Like I said, for what all evils you think the US has committed you should be jumping up and down about the evils Putin has committed. But you are not. You say NOTHING about any of what has been pointed out. If you truly were principled about 'evils' in general you'd agree with at least some of what has been said at minimum about Putin. Instead, you are silent. You deny every single reference about Putin doing anything in Ukraine but point all fingers at all events in Ukraine at the US. And back it up with some of the most flimsy evidence possible. To throw everything at one side and blow off ANYTHING at the other side? I really hate to break it to you but the ones running the show here in the US don't have a monopoly on evil. Like I said, Putin could hold a few seminars that put the people you hate to shame. If you deny this then you are hopeless and we have nothing further to discuss.

-Ammo was hard to come by - four of the shells produced in Chelyabinsk in '86 and two others in Tula in '92.
-So far there are commonalities with the death of Anna Politkovskaya and Nemtsov.

A recording of installed surveillance cameras in the area were either not very clear, or altogether absent, as they turned off at the time of repair.

Absent? Turned off at 11pm on a weekend to repair? Near the Kremlin? Seems lax for security near the Kremlin. Especially with a rally in the area slated for two days later. Coincidence?

I usually don't take politics too personal but the Ukrainian crisis has struck a cord with me. I don't know how any sane person can't see Russia and Putin are the cause of everything in the country.

I honestly don't think they are the cause of everything in the Ukraine. But they sure aren't helping as much as they could.

This whole rebel situation could have been stopped a long time ago by Putin if he wanted.

Okay I may have overstated it a bit much but I would say the Russians are 90%-95% of the problem. If they had respected the will of the people they would still enjoy good relations with Kyiv.

I was taking the entire situation into account. The Russians didn't have anything to do with Maiden (and neither did the US to the dismay of some on here) but their actions in the Crimea were likely perpetrated by Putin behind the scenes. Along with the BS vote that some refuse to acknowledge. And MH17 that has yet to come to light they like to point to as the investigation still isn't concluded. I'm not positive the Russian government was behind that, but it very likely was their hardware.

And the entire conflict in the east zone is entirely on Russia. Like I said, they very well could put a stop to it very quickly if they put their foot down.

If it was just ISIS fine (I would be all for it about time Russia started helping others out), but Assad has some other 'house cleaning' that needs to be done, and he isn't the type to stop when he has the chance to continue. And Assad doesn't differentiate between his own civilians and military targets.

How do you know that about Assad? I don't know much about him. I've seen one interview with him and he seemed like a decent guy.
