Ukraine Protests

What difference does this make?

The snowplow strikes me as a coincidence. How do you time a snowplow with someone walking down the road (not on a schedule)?

Discrepancies if this was a street sweeper. It can go slow with no one questioning it. It provides noise to muffle gun shots. It could very well be a coincidence. If I am an investigator I would have to address the fact that the only CCTV footage to date released shows this truck blocking the view of the actual shooting. Whether the truck was involved directly or not, it made for great cover and great for the only camera looking at the scene.

I see Russia arrested a Ukrainian MP who attended the funeral procession today as well. Apparently diplomatic immunity matters little to Russians either. Add this to a long list of complete disregard for international law.

Russian media (government) reenactment of the murder.

A group involved with great coordination. Nemtsov had to have been watched constantly. Killer was waiting along the path hidden in the stairwell. Getaway car stationed nearby. Were they using cell to communicate?

Again, for a guy being monitored by FSB you'd think they would have noticed others watching Nemtsov to know this detail. Was the FSB involved? Or did they know and just allow this to happen? Or did they have no clue over all of this? I'd like to know what these cameras spotted:

They are saying estimates for the Moscow march range from 16,000 to 70,000 and another several thousand marched in St. Petersburg. Some chanted, "Russia without Putin". Perhaps finally the Russian people are starting to wake up.

Said to be charged over the Odessa incident, un-fricking believable.

This will soon be forgotten about.

I'm keeping my eye on Estonia today, they are voting in a national election right now. The pro-Western Reform Party is leading exit polls at 29.2% but it is expected the Russian leaning Center Party is expected to do well (right now at 21%). It is expected though the other parties in power will form a coalition to keep them out of power.

For the Estonian elections I think the coalition partners change. The new parties that are to the right are the ones that picked up a decent chunk of seats and may be kingmakers and just how far right the government leans. Reform's leader said there will be no coalition with the pro-Russian "Center Party".

A good documentary on what Putin has done and how he came to power. A few things of note:

-A little over 17 mins in you will see Putin with Igor Girkin (Strelkov) the player in the Balkans, Crimea, and of course most recently in Donetsk. These two go way back even before 2000.

-About 1 hr in you get the info on the 2004 Ukrainian elections with info on Russian meddling in that election. Of course Ras and Pacer just like to harp on 2013/14 meddling by the US and never acknowledge the bigger picture like I've explained.

-About 1hr 10mins in you hear a speech by Dick Cheney basically calling Putin out on using oil and gas as a weapon of blackmail and not respecting the territorial sovereignty of neighbors. This was in 2006. What Putin has been doing for the past few years is something he's done for at least a decade and was even called out back then.

So the Kremlin area has a police force of 4K. Add to the local police, FSB, militsia, etc. and Nemtsov's body laid there for 13 minutes before anyone arrived. Not to mention this guy basically being followed and monitored by the Kremlin. Neglect or complicity are not the two characteristics Putin likes dealing with. But this is what it comes down to.

NYC has 50,000 cops and they probably wouldn't/couldn't respond much faster than that.

Are you suggesting that Putin and his hitmen are sloppy amateurs or do you think they were just stalling for time to send a message?

This is probably the best point you've ever made on here, yet you would have been more effective if you had pointed to the late summer White House yard incursions. Even those were at least filmed though.

How likely is a Reform, Pro Patria and Res Publica Union, Free, and Conservative People's Party coalition likely?

The US was also following the Boston Bombers and the 911 hijackers. Was the US gov involved in those events?

I know it really is hard to grasp logic in arguments but comparing generic events in a city like NYC to Putin's biggest political threat being a block from the Kremlin and the security that goes with it...your really just don't get it. This man's every move is monitored. This area is highly monitored. Between the combination of those two concepts of monitoring, it seems illogical to see this happen and go unaddressed for so long. Again, if there is no complicity then the flipside is inadequate security, response, and monitoring in such a high profile location for the President of Russia.

And for resident conspiracy theorist to just lay off one so juicy as this one? You're slipping and letting your bias show. I guess out of all the regimes, administrations, etc. in the world only the US gets your ire.

Not sure I would group the incompetent SS we now have with the security Putin has. That is unless Putin wants to be grouped in that company.

They need 51 seats and not sure if that gives them the coalition. We'll see jockeying for cabinet seats - this is the way most of these happen. The minority groups come forth with a list of seats or positions they want and the bargaining begins. These parties are not considered very far right so unless something comes out they very well could be part of the ruling coalition.

I have acknowledged that the west was involved in election tampering in 2004 just as much as I've complained about 2013/2014. We also have you openly admitting being involved in 2004. Nobody in this thread at this point is ignoring the US involvment in 2004.

If the seat projections I'm looking at are correct it would give them 59 seats but I didn't factor in Reform's current partner in the Social Democrats. If you add them to that coalition it would bump them to 74 total seats.

If you noticed my repeated comments about Putin I said either complicity OR weakness in not stopping it. You seem to only catch part of people's arguments and run with that. I'd add to the fact you have untold numbers of possible cells and lone wolves traveling around with lower level teams watching them vs. a single opposition leader who is the greatest election threat to Putin. Quantitatively and qualitatively, you're looking at two different levels of scenarios. Putin doesn't just have your basic level group monitoring top threats no matter what they are.

Proof of election tampering? Or are we just recycling your factless claims again? And you will claim the West tampering but deny Russia did anything? My involvement had nothing to do with tampering. I've repeated that. What I did was not US government involvement. How many times do I need to say that and you keep making stupid, baseless claims along that line?
