*sigh* if there was proof of involvement, show it to me. and no a bunch of politicians doing their job does not equal proof.

I like how the article, rightfully, plays up the western media's 'involvement' with their own governments but forgets to mention that the fine people at RT are directly funded by their government. hypocrites calling out hypocrites and claiming the moral high ground because they pointed the finger first. pot calling the kettle black and all those cliches apply.

Politicians doing their job? Starting and funding a putsch/coup of a democratically elected govt is acceptable to you? Smdh

Just like the article says....because it is a different perspective than MSM it's labeled as propaganda.

Regardless of the propaganda on either side, it's not going to change the fact that Eastern Ukraine will never again function in the state of Ukraine again. You have only your beloved, innocent politicians to thank for that.

so our CIA agents are now KGB agents, because this worked out for Russia, not the US. Russia is the only one who has gained anything, Crimea, and has the supposed right to be able to dictate 'peaceful' terms onto another country, while ensuring they lose land. if this is supposed to be a big CIA operation explain why Russia is cooperating and gobbling up parts of Ukraine.

The US run NATO now controls/runs all of Ukraine minus the Luhansk and Donetsk regions where war rages. Being that Russia already had a naval base in Sevastopol, looks to me that the Russians have came up short in the "land grabbing" game...

Believe me, I mean no offense when I say this (although I do), but you and Ras have to be the biggest ethnocentrists and American exceptionalists on this entire board.

Quite frankly, it's sickening to read.

In your often futile attempts to prove how everything in the world is the result of American interventionism, you actually subvert your intentions of being "saviors for humanity." You're not saviors for humanity. You're not bringing any sort of new message that will rescue us all.

Instead, what you and Ras often do is demean the actions of other peoples. It's like no one else on Earth has the ability to act independently other than Americans.

did you know Ukraine's NATO partnership, the 'just talking phase' of the relationship, has been ongoing since 1997 right? this isn't a new thing, and they have not increased its role. I didn't know how involved Ukraine has been with NATO, more than some members. still failing to see how we are controlling them.

ukraine has not joined NATO nor made an official request to join. Nato has made overtures but so far Ukraine wants to keep it just friends. pretty much the same with the EU. Seems like Ukraine doesn't want to be anybodies b$%^h and Russia is forcing the issue, can you be surprised they came back to us?

Was thinking I read that Ukraine had agreed to joint NATO drills with other members? I could be wrong however...

You are correct, they are doing that in the west, but that was an arrangement that predates Yoreshonko (spelling) getting kicked out. and as a partner they have every right to host these sort of things. As I pointed out Ukraine has been the most active partner (non-member) of NATO and have been from the start(1997), this is nothing new. and if Russia can have its war-games a few months ago near Ukraine I think Ukraine can have its own as well. It may be grandstanding but it is hardily the beginning of a NATO conspiracy to take over Ukraine.
