The Russian backed break-away region in Transnistria has mobilized it's "army" today. Also remember they also have thousands of Russian "peacekeepers" there as well.

Wonder what took 'em so long.

Anyhow, how did your interview go today?

I had to reschedule for tomorrow. The docs held my dad longer than I anticipated but it will be at 2pm tomorrow now thanks for asking prof.

Oh, okay. Well, I hope it goes well, and I hope your dad is doing better. Interviews always make me nervous, but I've found a trick: drink one or two beers before going in. It loosens you up. Just don't do more than that.

Lmao.

They probably didn't care for this, either.

Dr. Phil's evil mini-me is moving military forces closer to the Ukrainian border the past few weeks.

I had heard about that. Kind of a crappy paint job, but, then again, it takes a lot of guts to go up there in do that. Pretty damn impressive.

That one of the American comic figures, American version of Santa Claus, Ronald McDonald, and the American flag in Bulgaria is just priceless. Whoever thought of that is a genius. I bet that pissed the hell out of the Ruskies.

Sorry, but who exactly is Dr. Phil's evil mini-me? This one went a little over my head. Putin?

Lol, I'm talking about Belorussian dictator, Alexander Lukashenko, I think he looks a little like Dr. Phil :p

Maybe I'm the only one that sees a small resemblance.

Honestly, my initial reaction was him because of the 'stache. I should have offered him as well, but the "mini-me" thing through me a little off. Dude looks pretty tall, so I thought maybe you were referring to someone short of stature. Of course, standing next to Putin, almost anyone looks like a giant, so the guy might actually still be short for all I know.

So Belarus has sent troops up to the border, huh? Well, they certainly can't use the Russian "we're just making sure this doesn't spill over" excuse.

Yes. Also they have joint exercises planned with one of the elite Russian airborne units coming up. I'm not sure Belarus would ever join an invasion but it is something to keep an eye on there is any further Belorussian military movements to the border. Ukraine could be facing an attack from three sides.

They just lifted trade restrictions.

“Some EU countries have started sending their products to Belarus without specifying the real country of their origin. They write, for example – Macedonia, but we have found that it is Poland and Greece, as the Macedonian origin was not confirmed,” Russian news agency Itar-Tass quoted Sergei Dankvert, head of Russia’s food safety watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor, as saying.
