Speaking of which, how is it that the "rebel" side is better-armed 7 or 8 out of 10 times than the Ukrainian side? I thought they had just stolen Ukrainian military hardware. I guess they stole the best and let the Ukrainians keep the scrap.
Russia has $200-400 billion in reserves. The US has $18 trillion in debt. Who is in a better fiscal position? It will be interesting to see how much more economic pain Putin/Russia can stand. Reported to be down to $200 billion in reserves by end of year. They're burning through their cash at warp speed. Oil prices are crushing them, wages are in a free fall and most economist believe they will be in a serious recession in short order. Their "Central Bank" is throwing everything and the kitchen sink at their economic problems. They have few tools left in the tool box. And now this assassination of an opposition leader. Russians have backed Putin in his move against Ukraine, but I wonder if this confluence of events will start to change their opinion of how smart his moves really were. The U.S. and it's allies should continue to apply even more pressure and watch these Ruskies turn on him like a pack of wild dogs. Although it could get bloody....it is Russia after all.
this is completely new. I haven't heard this before.and has recently stopped the conquest of Syria and the transformation of Crimea into an American military base.
really none of the Kennedy's had access to nukes? and again why bring up nukes at all? warmongering? After all, unlike Chiles Allende, Italys Moro, Congos Lumumba, Venezuelas Chavez, Indonesias Sukarno, Americas Franklin Roosevelt, Walter Reuther, at least six members of the Kennedy clan, and thousands of other friends of the people everywhere, Russia has an impressive arsenal of nuclear weapons and delivery vehicles.
good thing we got Fidel, Osama, Sadam and the Un's of NK.Given this bloody, incontestable history of assassinations of world leaders, given moreover Russias nuclear arsenal, is it not likely that the masters of the CIA would try to bring Putin down in a more subtle way?
see dizzy for explanationWe even know the price tag: 5 billion dollars

i am really impressed with the CIA. they were able to pull off an assassination literally in the heart of Russia. on a guy the FSB had under observation. wow.
I like how the Raimondo source references American assassinations from 50-60 years ago like that proves some sort of point.
I liked the geneticist better. Seeing the background of that guy and you being a prof yourself, perhaps you should publish some articles and Pacer and Ras will quote you as well. I can ghostwrite some info if need be. Between a prof and a professional coup artist we could write some intense articles for these guys.
i like how the Russian media is disclaiming that American media had the murder figured out so soon after it happened and yet the Russian Media has figured out how it was America that did it in the same amount of time.
