Actually I'm in school right now. Just turned 19 back in November. Of course it would be a dream come true to be an entrepreneur, but I'm not sure how exactly to go about it at the moment. My father would help me along I'm sure if I ever did attempt to, though.

you are gonna laugh, but we have a shorttage of sheetrock, and concrete in this country. china seems to have a huge strangle hold on both of those. if I was younger. I would look at that.

Mmmm, not sure about this

no one is telling me what to do tomorrow. infact. I won't try to dig a basement/ foundation until march 15.

I finished 2 houses I planed to keep me busy through Jan/feb. the people buying them wanted done by christmas. so we finished it by then. so I had alot of time off.

doesn't make me look like anything. he made a huge mistake in Syria, but lets talk about Ukraine. what do you want him to do?

Put some resources into Intel and Diplomacy focused on things other than terrorism. We're way out of balance and need to commit resources to get in front of events in these hot spots. We may still decide to do nothing, but we can influence things from behind the scenes in both diplomatic channels as well as intel channels. That doesn't appear to be happening simply because there aren't too many AQ terrorists active in the area.

Not sure why Putin is getting all this love as a shrewd international player. He's having to send in troops because everything he tried before has failed.

We understand what a symbolic, if not economic disaster it is for Russia if Ukraine slips to the EU, right? It's a much bigger deal for them than it is for us.

So I just met someone who said it was the U.S.'s fault that Russia has invaded the Ukraine.

Some of these people are literally too stupid to insult.

Seems the financial markets aren't as awed as some here by the brilliant chess maestro, Mr. Putin:

Russia Raises Interest Rates After Markets Plummet - WSJ.com

Russia's stocks, bonds and currency fell heavily Monday in response to Moscow's threat to send troops to Ukraine, prompting the central bank into aggressive action to try to stabilize markets.

As the ruble sank to fresh record lows, with the dollar trading at 37 against the ruble and the euro at 51.2, the Central Bank of Russia raised interest rates by 1.5 percentage points, taking the key rate to 7%. It also bumped up its repo rate, at which banks receive liquidity, to 8%, and banks said it sold dollars heavily to support the currency.

don't we have most of the military options in place or close by? POTUS is talking to allies Chamberlain. probably talking about sanctions.

at the end of the day, we have no interest in Ukraine Czechoslovakia , just like we didn't in Georgia Austria.

Nods to Burhead on this post. History has this crazy way of repeating itself.
Pretty good editing work....

Which mobile home manufacturer do you work for ?

when clinton was in office, I built almost 100 houses. ask anyone that was a good time for contractors. I also built a few of those storage places. they don't have the same rules as appartments. during the last housing crash. I bought land, and lots of it.

You built those houses because the government was loaning money to people who couldn't afford to pay it back

ARMs were created to "help" people get loans for homes for a low interest rate in the beginning. But, these people then bought houses they couldn't afford and a government that looked down on banks denying loans to people with not good to very bad credit. Loans for houses they couldn't afford in the first place

ARMS are the main reason that the housing market boomed and the housing market crashed. The low interests started to rise at the end and people started foreclosing on their houses. The domino effect had started.

I can understand "you" made money, but other people suffered under Clinton as much as Bush or any other President.

And Hillary is the worst of the Clinton's. She was fired from the Watergate investigation because of lying in depositions and trying to violate the Constitution and due process. She got fired by Obama. Holy ****!! If that's not reason enough. She couldn't even lie and be good at it

ARMS was not a Clinton initiative it was a Reagan initiative.

The Garn–St Germain Depository Institutions Act of 1982 was an Act of Congress that deregulated savings and loan associations and allowed banks to provide adjustable-rate mortgage loans. It is disputed whether the act was a mitigating or contributing factor in the savings and loan crisis of the late 1980s.

The bill, whose full title was "An Act to revitalize the housing industry by strengthening the financial stability of home mortgage lending institutions and ensuring the availability of home mortgage loans," was a Reagan Administration initiative

Reasoning is hard.

I'm still just in shock over here at the idiocy this weekend shown on this board via the argument that Benghazi is contributing to Russian aggression in this situation.

In retrospect Romney was right about Russia and Obama mocked Romney for his comments at the time.

You are 100% correct. It wasn't only Obama, the media nailed Romney over his comments regarding Russia.

This isn't naked Russian aggression directed toward some distant country with resources the Russians would like to exploit. This is Round 723 of a battle that has been going on, in one form or another, for hundreds of years.

This is not comparable to Russian involvement in Cuba, or Afghanistan.

I didn't say Clinton started it

Clinton administration laxed the requirements to get an ARM and home loans in general

Now, I going by what I have been told by people in the loaning business and friends who built and sold houses until the housing crash

Russia is behind some of the biggest problems we have in FP - Syria, Iran and now the Ukraine. Putin is seizing power and influence everywhere he can. Romney saw this more clearly than Obama has.
