True. We haven't seen many of his recruits hit the field yet. Still dealing with a lot of juniors/seniors that are not the ideal player he wants. I would have to check, but quite a few of the seniors were probably Joker recruits aside from Juco plugins.. Turning UK around is gonna take a loooong time.

it does take a long time,it will take Stoops over 5 years to get them turned around,it will all be according to how well he can recruit and develope players and it hurts the Wild Cats as everybody knows ya'll are a Basket Ball first University and all ways will be

They're recruiting better, but not good enough. In the end it's not about the X's and O's....it's about the Jimmy's and Joe's. The Vols have much better Jimmy's and Joe's.

To a certain extent, yes, we will always be basketball first. I see no shame in that, even though SEC teams will always laugh and say it doesn't matter. Personally I don't feel as bad considering our best program is arguably the best in the country. The issue has always been the complete lack of effort/support the university and state has given. Brooks somehow turned us into a decent team, without any of the advantages Joker and Stoops have. Fans were shown hope to at least be competitive (7-8 wins a year should make most fans happy). The fact it's now 3 years in, and were still has inconsistent as ever is painful to watch.
