If you bring a water bottle (or just the top part of the bottle) to a boil for about a minute until the plastic is slightly soft, you can “slowly” remove the lid without breaking the seal, then immediately put it on a second bottle you already have prepared and filled with desired other clear beverage and allow to cool. It can be screwed on, and the deal should stay intact. YouTube has some decent videos on it.

Whenever the schedules work out to where I can make a Tennessee game I will try and make it to atleast a game a year, that ten hour drive makes it hard to be able to come to many games.

Well, it's a shame you will not experience a normal Vol Football weekend. There won't be the normal 100,000 plus fans, massive tailgates, the band playing to the Hill, Vol Walk, the band's pregame show, nor the team running through the T.

On another note, after my oldest daughter graduated UTK, she moved to Baton Rouge and got her Master's at LSU. She lived there for 5 years; so my wife and I have visited your town a dozen or so times. Love it. They lived off Dalriple (spelling?) across from the city's 9 hole golf course. There's a pizza place close by called "Shlitz and Giggles." Again, the spelling is probably wrong. Anyway, we went to a couple LSU night games at Death Valley. Tailgating was exceptional, as was the entire experience. Hope you and your wife enjoy East Tennessee............

Market Square is pedestrian only area in downtown with a lot of restaurants and bars but not sure what has survived the shutdowns.

A place for burgers and the Knoxville style steamed sandwiches is Good Times Deli on 17th Street near Cumberland aka the Strip. Usually a long wait on game days but might be a lot easier this season.

Can't stress this enough. Good Times Deli is the place to go to get burger or sandwich (Salami and Smoked Cheddar on Wheat with Mustard and Mayo for example) and cold drink of your choice ahead of a game. The walls are a covered with VOL legends' pictures and it's just the kind of place a college campus needs - especially on game day. Well worth any wait you may have.

Its a small world, I work at the big fire station on Government Street not too far from where she lives a good bit, Im glad yall have enjoyed yalls trips down here, Schlitz does have some real good pizza too, as far as the crowd being smaller goes it is what it is, Im excited to get to sing Rocky Top with all you heathens and Im sure we will be back in the future. We absolutely love East Tennessee, I proposed up there, had our honeymoon up there and usually come atleast once a year but this is the first time we have came in the fall.

My wife and I will be in Knoxville same weekend. We're not going to the game, though. What part of Knoxville are you staying? We usually stay in the Cedar Bluff area, Market Place.

We have a cabin booked between Pittman Center and Gatlinburg, were gunna come to Knoxville Saturday and book a hotel for Saturday night

I always try to park close to the interstate where theres less traffic trying to get out of there and walk to the stadium. I get off at exit 387 or388 i think (ill remember when I see it) and take an immediate right and its on the right. The lot also benefits the children's hospital as well and is only $15. Theres always people that sets up a tv and has a good group to watch games and grill and whatnot.

My favorite in Knoxville. I like the one at Williow Point Marina too. Great to load up before headed up river for the Vol Navy
