I was late getting my son to school this morning. I had to go to the office to sign him in. Two of the secretaries noticed my UT hat and asked if I heard about the petition.

One of them has a daughter that attends UK. Apparently the daughter said that a petition is going around campus about the game and other reasons.

I hope if any UK fans read this, they can inform if this is true or not.

Reasons for the petition are as follows..................

1. UT team celebrating on the field towards the end of the third quarter.

2. Jackson was re-instated for the game.

3. Micah Johnson was held in ot as Hardesty ran in the winning td and other obvious blown calls that weren't called during the game.

4. Apparently a UT player was waving the UT flag at midfield after the game.

5. The UT coaching staff was assaulting the UK fans with references to 25 years as they ran off the feild.

6. Kiffin's post game comments and he didn't give UK any props.

7. UT fans booing the UK band during halftime.

There was something else, but I can't remember it. I'm almost hoping this isn't true. I'll have to listen to the call in show tonight.

Has anyone else heard this? It sounds about like them.

The SEC office should send back a box of Kleenex.

I wonder if Slive has the ability to suspend an entire fanbase for criticizing the refs....

And this would be them hitting their lowest point in this game they call a rivalry. This is hilarious. Why don't they throw in objecting to the kickoff and all touchdowns while they are making their list.

We should send a petition to have UK kicked outta the SEC!! A team that thrives on a 8 win season and will never win an SEC championship needs to be elsewhere, maybe the ACC would take them, they cant seem to beat SEC teams either. We beat your azz 25 straight years, stop cryin and concentrate on another liberty bowl!!!

1. It's called a team pep rally. Celebrating? Yeah, we were really rubbing in that 21-21 beatdown.
2. Charges were dropped.
3. What about the hold in the endzone on 2nd and goal in the third quarter?
4. Good for him.
5. Proof? Anyhow, our staff was no doubt under a lot of pressure. Despite being bowl eligible and killing it in recruiting, they would have busted had they lost that game.
6. Why would he give props to the team that lost?
7. As if they didn't boo our band throughout the game.

That's hilarious. What exactly do they hope to accomplish with the petition?
Upset about a possible bad call? Guess you haven't watched much SEC football this year.
Upset about the coach pointing out the obvious? Get over it.
Upset that the band was booed? Get a better band.

That is exactly why that school is not and will not be considered a football school. That is just sour grapes. It sure didn't sit well with me when I witnessed Georgia stomp on the Power T after a last second win in the early 2000's, but I don't recall any Vols crying for the commish to do something about it.

Give that school a few years, Coach Cal will have the basketball program in such turmoil with probation and loss of scholarships, that those fans will have bigger things to worry about.

Maybe the petition is seeking permission to join the Sunbelt conference. They believe they could be competetive there.

Jeez, these Cats make me laugh.

That petition and $3.50 will get them a tall latte at Starbucks.

How awesome would it be if Slive actually fined them for this?

*****Breaking News******

Upon hearing of the University of Kentucky petition against the University of Tennessee, The Johnson & Johnson corporation has decided to send every Wildcat fan a gift in hopes of raising their spirits in these dark times. The gift is pictured below.

I would hope that if this is true we can get it into the national press so people can see just how sad the state of Kentucky football really is. This cry baby attitude will steer any players with talent away from their program for the next 25 years.

I almost have to agree with the post that says that they should consider moving to a conference in which they may be competitive. But I am sure that they really enjoy getting that big fat check from the SEC at the end of the year for their mediocre performances.

I find it amazing that the menstrual cramps of an entire fanbase can synchronize. I've heard that this can happen, but never into multiple tens of thousands.

I thought this post was going to ask the SEC to be removed from the conference! Maybe we could replace them with WKU!! Or worse....Lousiville
