Uh Oh, NCAA 2007 Lockups?

I read around about the lock-ups on 360. Here are the two most popular POSSIBLE helps:

1. Keep your power supply cool. One guy advocated hanging it in the air with a string. Some people think the power supply overheats and the player locks. People are saying the power supply is not large enough for the system.

2. If you having freezes/locks, clear your box's hard drive of ANY 07 files and start a new. Some say this has worked for them. Sort of like a re-install of a game on your computer.

My power supply is buried behind my entertainment center, on carpet, with plenty of wires and cables laying on it and running over it. Never had a lock up.

I've bought plenty of electronics that had problems and need to be returned. Just they way computers and technology are now days, especially cutting edge items.

the only problem i've ever had with my xbox was more of a disc problem than a system problem i think

whenever i've played MVP baseball lately it just freezes and tells me to check the disc, only problem i've had though

my PS2, however, messed up really badly awhile back.. it would just say 'reading disc' and not do anything.. but we didn't bother to take it back because it was out of warranty and i was getting an XboX

i took my copy of ncaa 07 back to gamecrazy where i bought it and the guy working there told me this problem was caused by the console's date not being set (which i had never done). he told me to delete all the files off the hard drive, then set the date correctly and everything should work.
i haven't tried it yet but i am about to
wish me luck

me either
but the guy at the strore said that since my console's date was set at 11/22/05 i believe and ncaa 07 was made after that date, then the files are corrupt somehow.
it seems to work, i've simmed through 2 seasons on dynasty and had no problems

This explanation brings back fond memories of the Y2K scam.
