Uh Oh, NCAA 2007 Lockups?

My xbox 360 copy of NCAA has locked up three times today within an hour in dynasty mode. I am wondering if it could be an issue with the game. I took it back to EB Games and they exchanged it. He asked me if it was locking up in dynasty mode and I said yes. The sales guys looked at each other like they had already had several complaints on this. Anyone else experience this yet?

thanks arclight, I can't read that first one since you have to register but the other two are referring to general 360 freezes. I have had mine since December without and lockup issues so I am pretty sure it's the game not the system. The guys at EB games mentioned that had a few complaints so far about it locking up in dynasty mode.

Do the Google search--there are lots of thoughts on the 360 freeze. I do not have a 360--so i'm not up on the 360.

Good thing I didn't buy it yet... I'll wait to see if the 360 problem gets corrected or just go with the PS2 version. I'm happy with the same game anyhow, I'll just go with the new rosters.

As an owner of both systems (including multiple PS2s and orig. XBox's)... Both the XBox and XBox 360 are definitley more problematic than the PS2 ever was. Especially the 360 so far. The 360 is having more hardware problems than any system I can ever remember... And I've been playing video games for a long, long time despite my young age. I started early. Microsoft could still be fixing it behind closed doors, though, so we'll see...

Wow, possibly a thousand or two copies are bad out of more than a hundred thousand. I'll take my chances.

Freak - You sure your console is ok? Invisible stadiums and now a few lockups? Doesn't sound too good for the machine.

man, i am telling you it's freakin EA Sports. We will see. I have played about three games with the new copy and no issues so far.

does it freeze and then give you an error saying the disc is unreadable even though there's not a scratch on it?
cuz mine has done that a couple of times in dynasty now.
i think i'm gonna return it tomorrow

well i am hoping it doesnt happen to me, thats all i can say.

did you guys get the 360 at the first release.

i think mine may be working good becasue i got it later.

I was playing Iowa last night with Tennessee and Taylor got hit on the sideline, the camera zoomed in, but never zoomed out because the hit was frozen mid air.......doh! :blink:
