Ugh Dooley just hinted that Hunter is Done

You know you can walk on an tear right? Hell some people play on it depending upon the severity.

I played three games on my torn acl before I finally got a MRI and had the surgery the next day. I hope he is ok but if not we will still have angood year. Some people on this site need to go somewhere else with all the negative mess. Our kids fought hard today and proud of everyone of them. I would love to see the playing career of some of the guys who says we suck, bench tauren and all that other crap dive plays into the game. I bet most of those guys were either bench warmers or didn't even play. They were without more talented than us, and we lost by only 10, our future is very bright, either get behind these kids, or ****. No room for that crap around here, it makes me sick and you make all of us look like a bunch of dicks.

This program just cannot catch a damn break. Judging from the replay, I would be absolutely shocked if it isn't an ACL. The only bright spot from today is that Arnett looks to already be a decent player, with potential to become very good. But you simply cannot replace Justin Hunter. If there was ever a "let the air out of the baloon" moment, today was it. The 7th straight loss to UF just adds insult to it.

Yeah because I don't think beating Ole Miss, Vandy, Kentucky, and 4-8 Big East teams are a reason to go dancing in the streets.

No he is saying that you are possibly so negative that you hope something bad happens so you can rub in it to the rest of this web site. However when something good happens you have nothing to say. I have never ran into such a negative "vol" fan in my entire life. You sound like a banwagon fan who is just sticking around in case we do well at some point.

Are you directing that at me? Or just in general?

"Hunter has told people it's a torn ACL, so that's probably the case. Docs usually know before the MRIs these days."

Per Rucker

I'll have plenty of good things to say if we actually beat someone worth a damn. Didn't happen last year and doesn't look good for it to happen this year.

You've sure had plenty of time to save them up..Negavol AND Schleprock IMO

If he's gone for the season, this will be the most "season-altering" injury we have faced since Jamaal in '98, or maybe Colquitt in '94.

So we just altered ourselves into going undefeated from here on out and winning the NC? I like the way you think :)

I couldn't walk when I tore mine. Of course, I also tore my Meniscus. I did ride my motorcycle to the hospital and then home but I could not put my left foot down when I stopped.

Hunter is so skinny, I've been worried all season about how well he would hold up to the physicality of SEC football. Hope he can make a come back.

This has no bearing on his injury. He wasn't touched...

If losing one guy means we're in big trouble, we have much bigger problems.

Well said. I remember when Jamal Lewis tore his ACL, he went back in and played a little more before the pain got to him. The reporters were shocked that he didn't even limp walking to the bus. But the fact was we had Travis Stephens and Travis Henry to step in and play well. Arnett, Zach Rodgers, V. Dallas and D. Rodgers must fill the void of a terrific athlete going down. Don't write his arbitrary just yet with current technology there is every reason Hunter will be back at same level next year.

It seems the resident valid victorian has made his appearance on the board this morning. :)

D. Rodgers has got to quit getting scared and short arming passes on third downs.

Ha! No, just meant that in '98 our best offensive weapon got hurt, it definitely altered the season, just actually altered it for the better. But it was gut-wrenching when we found out Jamaal had to have knee surgery, just like it was yesterday when we saw Justin fall.
