I think UGA will lose this weekend. Why? because they have a simple offense. UT struggles against a spread offense but holds it's own but it's demise is lack of points. UT's defense will keep UGA in check and our running game alone will be too much for them. I am not a kool-aide drinker whatsoever but after watching how UT plays and UGA. UGA will go down this week. UGA is not strong at all. And we still don't know how good LSU is. UGA was not a real test so far. UGA could barely score on a very pourous defense which gives up a bunch of points. This week even with injuries they will face a stiffer defense.

Also Crompton looked better last week then he has all season excluding highschool WKU, his downfall was dropped passes and yes he was inaccurate at times but looked better then the last three games for once. And this comes from a Crompton basher.

Not to mention we are in the top 5 of most disciplined teams in the NCAA. UGA is near the bottom

Mark it down, UGA goes down, if I'm wrong then expect another 5-7 season at best. UT wins by 10 imo.

man but so many injuries on D. King went down this week so we're down to 4th? 5th string LB?? No Vlad still, dinged up Thompson, Hardesty, BB, can Quinton catch the ball? Can Jones? lots a questions and holes. Monte had to call two timeouts just to give his D a rest last week. There is no depth with lots of injuries. But if the O can get just a few first downs and score 17-24 points UT has a good shot. But if the O only plays in the last 4 minutes of each half then get ready for heartbreak. I'm calling it 6-6 with a bowl this year.

This game will be a hard fought game for both teams. I dont think we will be able to find out how good kiffins staff i until next year when crompton is gone.

UF was one of our best executed defensive games... kind of shoots your whole "don't play against the spread well" argument.

I think we lose, to lack of offensive production. You can't win football games when you can't score points.

Simple offense? Really. Sorry but no offense in the SEC or College football for that matter is simple.

UGA runs a Pro Style offense that utilizes the inside-outside running game to setup the play action pass. While this does bode well for UT's D(Monte saw this all the time in the pros) it is in no means a simple offense.

I think you just made the point against yourself, running to set up play action is about as simple as it gets. I think by simple he means not many gimmicky plays or formations. In a pro-style offense it's more about execution than it is completely catching the D off guard.

You are wrong. We lose this game too because our D will be so tired by the third quarter they will need naps. Our offense is pathetic, delude your selves all you want - but UGA will win.

Sorry but still not simple. Easier to defend and game plan, sure, but simple to learn and execute I disagree.

I think he just meant simple as in its nothing like UF/UA. Hell, nothing is like that backyard grab a$$ offense UA runs....

Give me a break, UGA could barely score on one of the SEC's worst defenses. LSU gives up tons of points. Your offense is simple. So is UT's.

What's up with all these "UGA is going to lose this weekend...here's how" threads? These type of threads have been going on since UCLA...and look what good they've done...

Georgia is going to be tough to beat, just like everyone else on our schedule save Vandy and Memphis. Hell even Kentucky will be a challenge. Vols don't win this weekend, they're not going bowling this year, mark it down.

Why? because since week 1 we are not facing a spread offense which we need to score a bunch of points to win and second they absolutely have no running game. UGA will go down this week IMO. If we lose then I will just come back next year because we will be getting another 5-7 season.

If we win it will break a Richt streak. Everyone knows UGA is better on the road than at home - I think Richt has only lost like 6 road games at UGA.

But I heard this morning that Richt has never lost a road SEC game coming off a loss. He's something like 11-0 in those games.
