If we were cheated then we were cheated. Like I said there is a reason that Gurley is not playing right now and its obvious UGA would be playing an ineligible player. He was ineligible if found to be true when UGA played UT on 9/27.

Just having a little fun with that comment, taking a jab at the "if you wanna BE the best, you gotta BEAT the best" crowd who would, despite our program being as down as it's been in my lifetime, would still like to see us schedule the Seahawks, Broncos and 49ers as our OOC games every year. It wasnt a serious comment.

we don't know what will happen with Gurley right now and I'm not much interested in a vacated win,which may show up by the year 2020

but i do have to give CMR credit,he is standing up for what is right,which is a rare thing these days ,Way to Go Coach

The 1993 17-17 tie with Alabama was later forfeited to Tenn as a win. This is according to the UTK record book and also NCAA book as well. They have changed the rules I guess.

So if TN was to get a vacated/forfeit win and two more to become bowl eligible how many of you who didn't want the win because of the way we got it would not attend the bowl game and be thanking Uga for the victory. Rules and interpretation of rules are made to be challenged. Which is why the forum was started I was asking why aren't fans doing it, also as an intelligent person I'm thinking. All of u complaining I don't want it that way or whatever are not being realistic. If its a tennessee win its a win. If Gurley wasn't supposed to be out there he wasn't if he's proven to have not done anything then Uga deserved and earned the win.

I think the NCAA should be abolished anyway. What value do they bring to the table that the conferences and universities can't themselves? Nothing. They say they are protecting kids from commercial exploitation. You mean more exploitation than the NCAA is already doing and getting rich in the process?

Disagree. A loss is a loss. A pretend win is not a win.

Here is what I think should happen as a rule....you take away the player(s) stats from that game...and if the team still has the lead..then they keep the win....if the team does not have the lead...then the other team gets the win...that is way I think the rule needs to be done....

I know Michigan 92-93 basketball team had to vacate championship after Webber was found out and USC after Bush was found out. I want UT to have basically a 4th win this season and become bowl eligible and if this gets us one step closer then I'll take the win however I can get it. GO Vols

We won't get a win and I wouldn't want it even if it was possible. Don't want one that way. No matter what.
