UGA is now our UF

UGA feels different just in the fact that they are a great program. There were some years with Florida where we lost to them when we were an equal or better program. 2023 is probably the worse one but 2014 and 2015 are notably. Also during the Fulmer era, I thought TN had better talent post-Weurffel and yet we still lost to them regularly.

Say what you want, but UGA has NFL talent at every position group. The worst thing about the UF streak is that a lot of times we had more talent than them. Not the case vs UGA. But we are getting there. This coming up class will be the one the flip it. We're building something. Put on more steam.

Exactly what you said-

Florida during the Fulmer years was winning against a TN team with equal talent. Georgia's streak started during TN's darkest days when everyone was beating us.

This was the first year where it looked like we played with them showing we're closing the talent gap.

Georgia and Kirby has so far experienced what Fulmer did with Spurrier. Kirby has beaten Bama as much as Clark Lea at Vandy [once] So everyone has their nemesis.

NIL is leveling the playing field. Kirby took advantage of Florida and TN both being down and they filled the gap in the East. That happened while Saban kept the rest of the league in constant turmoil by getting coaches fired.

To me we seem to psyche ourselves out against Florida. Even when we've had better teams.

Georgia has just been alot more talented. I don't think its mental [yet]
