Seriously, **** Dana

My hate for Dana is pretty well known, but I think this is more new management than him. He used to tell older fighters just to stop when they kept getting killed. We are going to keep getting these fights, and guys jumping all over weight classes, and 10,000 interim belts just so they can bleed it dry of all the money they can, then sell the company for a profit. The Fertitta's genuinely cared about fighting and fighters. WME gives no sh*ts about either, I give them 5-7 years and they will be looking to unload the UFC.

I know it's not an up and coming prospect this time but in his last 8 fights he's 1-6-1 and in in his last fight he looked as bad as I've seen someone look in the octagon in recent memory so eventually someone needs to step in and tell him it's time to hang it up

Wtf just happened in the Weidman fight? I can't hear the broadcast

Im only halfway paying attention but they stopped because the ref thought it was an illegal knee then the doctor called it because they didn't know what to gather. Rogan is killing them talking about how it was a legal hit and this is bull****.

The second one looked illegal to me but i also thought weidman bated mousasi into it.

Here's what I think happened weidman got hit with a knee the ref thought was illegal so he stopped the fight to give weidman time to recover then in that time frame someone told the ref that they saw a replay and the knee was legal so he changed the call and since weidman was still recovering they called the fight and weidman lost. Basically the ref messed up and weidman paid the price

Sorry about the run-on sentence but my phone gets a mind of its own when I try to add anything to a sentence besides letters

The ref didn't screw Weidman if anything he almost screwed Gegard, the fight shouldn't have been stopped and Weidman shouldn't have been given anytime to recover. As soon as the ref heard it was legal, he should have restarted the fight. Even Rogan said if it was legal the fight should be over. Sucks cause Gegard gets robbed of what should have been a clean victory.

Weidman was more than likely about to be put to sleep but then again he could have went to the ground, guarded up, and regained his composure. There's no replays during the fight so you live with what you call. It's the same as someone getting rocked then getting hit with a questionable low blow he's going to get his 5 minutes if you call it a low blow even if a replay shows it was on the belt line

Honestly, it's on Weidman. I understand why we have rules about when you can knee so I am good with the spirit of the rule, but I feel like he was trying to exploit the letter of the law. He waited until Mousasi went for a knee to put his hands down. I think he was trying to time it just right to draw the foul because he was already in trouble.

I can't remember this ever happening so I can't argue either way. Doesn't seem like the ref would say, "I saw that you faked it but I'll give you five minutes anyway."

I did like Gerard's response, "I don't give a **** I won the fight" lol

Right before that he tried to get a phantom low blow called FWIW I hate the, "I'm standing but my fingers are touching the ground so you can't knee me" rule. Should have to at least have a knee down. IMO
