Hall is one of the more disappointing fighters in recent memory.

I've said it before but he reminds me so much of Guillard, crazy athletic and naturally gifted just can't seem to put it all together. Will/would have fights where you think he's turned the corner, then just crap the bed. He's so close to being a gatekeeper at 185

I just got around to watching last week's TUF. Good fight until the early stoppage. So far this season has been great. You can tell the level of fighter is a lot better.

I've put Barboza in that category too, but he's done a lot better lately. I hope he can keep it up. He's a favorite of mine.

They're trying really hard to make him a two division champion. They better hope it doesn't backfire. Another loss so soon would kill a lot of the hype.

It's been a good day boys. Hopefully it ends with a few good fights. Bigfoot and Nelson could be a good fight if Bigfoot's chin holds up.

Aldo has apparently asked for his release.

On one hand I really agree with him. It's a bit disappointing to see one man completely take over the sport and literally force the company to bend to his will. I can't imagine that in any other kind of professional sport. But on the other I see the logic in the money. I don't like it, because sports should be about the competition, not the payout, but it makes sense. MMA is a different animal than any other sport.

Professional sports are almost always about the payout. That's why they are so competitive.

I completely get the idea. You see the issue in basketball or football with contract disputes. But I don't see another sport where a single athlete literally owns everyone. Conor has made the UFC his *****, and the UFC can't do anything because $$$.

It's also silly to see new champs start asking for money fights *cough cough Woodley*

Rashad Evans and Thiago Silva are on the undercard too, not against each other though. That's a crazy stacked card.

Yall see the 205 press conference where the guy asked Conor who he was the toughest guy on the stage or whatever? Jeremy Stephens said "it's me, he TKOs people, when i knock em out they don't move" Conor looked around and said "who the **** is this guy??" lol.
