Lawler is just a tough guy who I don't think was ever supposed to have the belt. I like him, but his defense is the problem. Cowboy is more technical and I'm not even sure he has a chance to be champ. Should be a good one.

Cowboy has a very good chance against anyone in the division. Wonderboy would give him trouble, but I could see him potentially beating anyone else. I can see this fight staying on the feet. I still think Lawler has the better chin and probably has more power, but Cerrone is longer, quicker and more technical as you said. I think Cowboy takes it.

The thing I like about Cowboy at this weight is he starts quicker than he used to at 155. Maybe that's cause he feels less lethargic without having to cut weight. I'm with Bas in that I think guys should fight closer to their natural weight as its not as tough on them physically and mentally.

Cowboy said he feels amazing at 170, his walk around weight is just a few pounds north of that. He was binging on Five Guy's double burgers leading up to the fight with Story.

Cowboy will fight Gastellum which is an interesting matchup. Gastellum ain't the best but he can beat just about anybody.

When you scout KG you just don't really see a whole lot, but he's 12-2 with split decision losses to Neil Magny (#7) and Tyron Woodley (Champ).

KG has wins over Hendricks (former champ) and a few old vets. Too many decisions tho.
