"We were walking in the back after. Clay (Guida) was in front of everyone, it was Clay, Danny (Castillo), Jason, then me, I was in the back, walking Clay in," Buchholz said, via News.com.au.
"Nate had come out of a bathroom in the hallway. And Clay said something to him. But Clay was discombobulated at that time, you know. He said something to Nate like Man, Im going to f*** you up again, something like that.
"And Nate I didnt see what Nate did but Danny told me Nate kind of smiled and was like What mother f***er? You joking? Because theres no reason for this s*** to go down like this."
You would think, with Guida only minutes on from being knocked out by Brian Ortega and Diaz having finally got his McGregor rematch in the bag, that would have been the end of the confrontation.
As it turns out, things were only getting started:
