I don't dislike Conor but I'm glad he got taken down a notch.

Nate's interview on FS1 was pretty good. He said once Conor tried to shoot he knew it was the beginning of the end for him.

Damn can he take a punch though. It's unreal.

But honestly I'm glad Conor was at least humble about getting his azz beat. He belongs at 155. Cutting down to 145 is too rough on him.

I agree.

I called this fight by submission, however, I thought it would be Diaz taking Conor to the mat to show him superior ground game rather than Conor shooting in desperation.

Conor is deadly accurate and quick and those strikes though.

Either way. Time to pay Nate and time for Nate to take training and fighting seriously.

I don't think this takes him down a notch.

He jumped 2 weight classes in 3 months against a zombie who can't be knocked out. Props to both fighters for taking the fight.

Idk if I could say her game plan was terrific since she was about to lose the fight.

Or perhaps you could say game plan was great but execution wasn't (hollys takedown defense was good minus round 2 and that last one)

Game plan was to stay back and look for a takedown, she did that. Trading strikes would have had her ass laying cold on the mat. She forced Holm to press and made her pay when she missed.

She wasn't about to lose the fight. It was fairly even until the end.

I disagree. I think she was down 3 rounds to 1 going into the final.

But doesn't matter anymore

I agree. Doesn't hurt McGs legend but it definitely helped Diaz's. IDK why Diaz was such an underdog.

Yeah he's humble now after calling himself a GOD huh? Nah that ain't flying. Glad he quit in front of everybody after acting like a prick all this time.

Nate with some real S&C work would be hell.

I agree definitely risky by him to move up but it was just two natural lightweight's fighting without a weight cut.

The nonsense about him fighting true welterweights needs to stop. All the top WW would wreck him

I never was a Conor fan. Couldn't stand the guy but you can at least respect the fact that he acknowledges he got beat by a better guy and shows respect after the fight.

Unlike Rousey who still claims she's undefeated Lol

I agree on Conor (tho I am a fan of his). Pre-fight jabber is part of the game. It's hardest to be a good sport after a loss, and he was a good sport. I respect him more now, too.

She said on Ellen she still considers herself undefeated.

Definitely agree. Like I said before, I didn't dislike him, but wanted Diaz to win for sure. I'm just a fan of sportsmanship in general & glad he accepted defeat like a man.

Can't wait to hear what Rogan & Schaub have to say about this fight. I don't always enjoy his podcasts but him & Schaub are hilarious sometimes

And contemplated commit suicide because of her loss.

After watching McGregor get dominated once he was on the ground, I really don't like his chances when he eventually goes up against Dos Anjos.

Dos Anjos out-muscled and kept Diaz down and beat him to a pulp. After seeing McGregor struggle against Diaz, I think Dos Anjos would beat McGregor handily at this point.

McGregor probably needs to stay at 145 for his own sake. He has a weight and reach advantage there and his left hand is too much for the smaller guys. Diaz proved that it isn't effective against a larger opponent.

As far as Holm/Miesha, I think Holly deserves the rematch after her dominant performance over Ronda, and let's be honest, she was going to win the Tate fight if she didn't get caught in a choke.

Let HH/MT duke it out again at UFC 200 and then let Ronda get the title shot against the winner in a standalone PPV later this year. Both would sell massively (Revenge factor against HH, Hatred factor against MT).

Speaking of Rousey what if any affect on the HH vs. RR rematch?

So to me, the UFC makes more money if RR fights - so I think Tate defends against RR and almost definitely loses, then HH challenges RR. From a business perspective, it's the only thing that makes sense.

It's all about matchups. Diaz is a bad matchup for McG and Dos Anjos is a bad matchup for Diaz. The transitive property doesn't mean much in this case, IMO.

I think part of it is Diaz is just tough as nails and he's also a south paw, so that slightly changed everything McG does. I think McG should go for 155. There is a huge difference between 155 and 170.

I just realized that we are most likely going to see McG vs Diaz II at some point. I am very happy about this.
