That doesn't seem to fit does it.

So we have three likely outcomes, and I'm not sure where the odds lie:

He was cheating and beating tests and ****ed up one of them, coincidentally the one the night before the fight (which I still don't know if it makes sense to have a traceable amount of Turinabol in your system the night before).

He was sabotaged.

False positive.

I was thinking false positive.
I mean he's proven to be self destructive but this would be the ultimate in stupidity

Just talked to my friend who has juiced and he thinks oral Turinabol does give short term performance benefit (just not muscle building), so there is that.

FWIW Schaub said he talked to an expert about it, and that it makes you crazy AGRO and strong for a few hours. Which would explain it if that's true.

They start talking about it at the 1:15 mark, Schaub talks about what the expert said at 1:40 mark.

The UFC is having such a terrible 2017. Basically ever since they sold. They only have 2 legitimate superstars and one just got busted for PED's and the other may not ever fight again.

I follow the sport pretty close and I didn't even know they had a PPV on Saturday. The main event got canceled because of fighter illness and apparently Nunes fought terribly and was wrongly awarded the decision in the co-main event.

They need Diaz/McGregor so badly, which is probably why Diaz is demanding $20M.

So I don't dispute that, but as you pointed out, it only lasts a few hours. Somebody pointed out it wouldn't even be in his system 24 hours later, so it makes no sense to take it at the weight-ins and only the weigh-ins.

So he was either beating all the tests all along and using this drug to build muscle for weeks and weeks or he was sabotaged. He did't start popping them on weigh-in day. No matter what the story is, it doesn't really make sense for him to take it 24 hours before. There is no benefit to having it in his system at that moment.

The sport is definitely in rough shape right now and in my opinion, isn't promoting the right fights or fighters. Guys like Stipe, Robert Whitaker, Gustaffson, Cormier, Garbrandt, Dillashaw, Dom Cruz, etc. etc. are all excellent fighters and are getting no screen time thanks to these bull**** gimmick fights like McGregor/Mayweather, McGregor/Diaz and Bisping/GSP. Stop relying on past promotions and come up with some new matchups and storylines. Since the acquisition, the UFC is reminding me more and more of boxing with the fight dodging from champions (looking at you McGregor and Bisping) and promoting horrible fights.

I think Diaz/McGregor is a great and well-deserved fight, but I agree with with most of what you say. That wasn't about protecting McGregor. It was one of the worst matchups for McG.

I think they really need to push country vs country angles. No matter what they do, they can't make certain guys into stars. Cruz and Mighty Mouse don't have enough power, MM has no competition, and Cruz isn't very likable. Not enough guys are willing to be villains. Garbrandt or TJ needs to embrace that role to sell their fight.

Was nice knowing you Jon...bye.

And deservedly so. He doesn't deserve to compete at the highest level of the sport. The UFC has given him ample chances to get his crap together (that lesser fighters would not have been given, by the way). Zero sympathy for this loser, and glad to see the belt back with DC. He is all class and a true champion.

Now back to those who deserve to be in the UFC. Gus/Cormier and another championship bout on the card for UFC 218, please.

I'll take the side of the stupid casual fan and argue Daniel will truly never be the "true" champion. He will always have the burden of never beating Jon. Daniel can always claim to be the better man, the better role model, but at the end of the day the only thing stopping Jones is his own recklessness, not Daniel.

Is it though? Is non juiced Jones the guy that fought OSP? Cause if he is DC wins their fight. Hell AG and Rumble beat that guy.

JDS was a monster, then (and I think it's obvious) he got clean and now he's average. Reem, Sherk, Vitor...killers then meh. Though Reem switched his style a little and is still a contender. It's not far fetched to think the AG fight made him try to look for an edge, cause he felt guys closing on him. Don't get me wrong dude is an all time talent, but how much of the talent was enhanced and for how long? That'll eat at DC more than anything probably.

He definitely did something after the fight with Alex. You can see a massive change. But did he stop juicing for OSP? How did he somehow pass all the random testing and then fail the one he knew about? It's just odd but it all makes sense in the roller coaster of his career. Steroids would give him a edge, but with his natural skills/gifts it's sad to see him be reckless.

It's very possible he was clean for OSP cause he was coming off suspension, struggled and went back on. This time with the way I understand the drug to work, he doesn't need to be on a cycle, probably thought he could sneak it and not get caught. I'm harsh on him but it sucks that he can't keep his head right. At the same time he's had multiple chances so **** him. Lol
