Light Heavyweight Championship: Jon Jones(14-1) defeats Quinton Jackson(32-9) - Submission

Josh Koscheck(16-5) defeats Matt Hughes(45-9) - KO

Mark Hunt(7-7) defeats Ben Rothwell(31-8) - Unanimous Decision

Travis Browne(12-0-1) defeats Rob Broughton(15-6-1) - Unanimous Decision

Nate Diaz(14-7) defeats Takanori Gomi(32-8-1) - Submission

I was going to wait to post this but with the news of Overeem signing to fight Lesnar in December and Diego Sanchez being replaced with Josh Koscheck, decided to post it sooner. Lots to talk about in the UFC world!

I was looking forward to Sanchez/Hughes and I know people hate Koscheck, not a big fan myself. Pretty respectable for Koscheck to come in and take on Hughes at the last moment. Gonna be a great fight.

And Overeem... I don't watch a lot of mma outside of UFC but he sounds awesome!

During negotiations, the UFC offered an immediate title fight against the winner of a Nov. 12 matchup between Cain Velasquez and Junior Dos Santos. Overeem ultimately turned down the opportunity in favor of fighting again in 2011.

"I'm a fighter who wants to fight a lot," Overeem said. "If I had to wait for a title fight, I'd basically be waiting until next year. They came up with this option and I wanted it.

That's badass!

Jon Jones is my favorite fighter, but I'm not excited for this event. He'll mop the floor with Rampage. I do like watching Nate Diaz fight.

Overeem has been linked to PEDs in recent years, so he's kind of been a lightning rod. He was the Strikeforce HW Champ, and was scheduled to fight Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva before he was released by the organization. It was a very odd situation around his ouster from Strikeforce, but things have really worked out better for him, now that he is fighting Lesnar. I'm not big on Overeem, but I will definitely be cheering for him in this fight.

As for UFC 135, I will be pulling hard for Rampage, but I don't see him having a very good shot against Bones. Not a dig on Bones. I've just always been a Rampage fan. There is starting to be a large anti-Jon Jones sentiment among alot of mma fans, and I don't understand it at all. The guy is probably already the most entertaining man in the sport.

Wish I could cheer for Rampage and normally I would, but I don't think he could beat Evans in a rematch. So, I gotta pull for Bones to win this. Hopefully he knocks Rashad out! Guessing he won't have much of a problem finishing Rampage with a 1 foot reach advantage. That's crazy

Don't sell Rampage short, man. He's one of the best LHW's of all time. Jones is the champ, but still hasn't faced anyone the caliber of Rampage. (I do consider Shogun a legend and a quality fighter, but he was severely out of shape for the fight with Jones, as anyone who watched the fight can atest to)

Having said that, I would consider it a pretty big upset for Rampage to win. I'll still be rooting for him, though.

If Rampage wins it's because of experience. Bones is the better athlete and fighter in just about every way. And again, I just can't pull for Rampage because I'm 99% certain that Rampage can't beat Rashad Evans. We already saw that fight once and Rampage couldn't do anything. I'm not a Bones fan but if it comes down to watching Evans jabbing and running for 5 rounds against Rampage to win the title or watching Bones dismantle Evans, I'm going with Evans getting dismantled.

It bodes well for Rampage that he is arguably the best opponent Bones has faced but I think Bones is going to be too quick for him. It would take a lucky shot to catch Bones with a knockout blow. Between reach and speed, Bones has the advantage if the fight stays standing. If the fight goes to the ground, Rampage better better have a trick up his sleeve because it's lights out for Jackson.

One more thing to add, Bones has finished every single opponent and 6 of Rampages last 7 fights have gone the distance. Looking at Bones, I doubt stamina will be an issue. Going 5 rounds shouldn't be a problem for him if it comes to that. Winning the title by decision on the other hand is an issue. Winning titles by decision is rare and if Rampage can't finish him, he's already lost. Seeing as he's struggled to do so lately and that nobody has beaten Bones at all, he better wear his lucky trunks.

Is it tomorrow night yet? Ready for this fight!

I disagree with you about a potential Rampage and Rashad rematch. Ring rust was a major issue for Rampage in their first fight, as it had been around 2 years since he had fought. He did get worked in the first 2 rounds. But in the 3rd, he got top position on Rashad and roughed him up. If his GnP had been better, (ring rust) he would have gotten a stoppage, imo. Since then, he has beaten Machida, who mopped the floor with Rashad. I see a rematch between the 2 playing out completely different.

Talking about the fight tomorrow, you brought up conditioning. The fact that the fight is in Denver only magnifies the importance of conditioning because of the high altitude. Rampage has moved his entire camp to Denver to try to adapt, but it probably won't matter. I've seen enough Rampage fights to know that he's not going to kill himself with conditioning. Bones should have a very big advantage in this department. I think if 'Page is going to win, he'll have to get a stoppage in the first 2 rounds. Bones will own rounds 3-5 if it goes that far.

Well, if Rampage were to beat Rashad in a rematch, I have no problem with him winning tomorrow. I just don't want Evans to be the champion. Can't stand him

My Picks.

Jon Jones vs. Quinton Jackson (Jackson unanimous decision)

Matt Hughes vs. Josh Koscheck (Hughes rear naked choke Rnd 3)

Nate Diaz vs. Takanori Gomi (Diaz triangle choke Rnd 1)

Travis Browne vs. Rob Broughton (Browne KO Rnd 2)

Ben Rothwell vs. Mark Hunt (Rothwell TKO Rnd 1)

I can't believe Jackson is such a huge underdog. This fight is much closer than the experts are making it out to be.

I also think the only shot Koscheck has is to KO Hughes. Maybe Hughes age plays a part, but I really believe he will manhandle Koscheck.

Judging from the weigh-in picture, Rampage has been in better shape before a fight then this. You know Jones will be in top condition.

4 hours!

Other than Bones over Jackson, I'm not going to make a prediction.

If I had to make another... I think Koscheck will beat Hughes. I'm pulling for Hughes though so I'd rather not make that prediction.

I would not be suprised to see jones get caught with a lucky punch, because he was being careless.

Due to his age and cockiness, could happen.

If Jones is focused and doesn't make a mistake, he should win this fight no problem.

But yeah, this is where experience could play a factor. Jackson can knock him out no problem but Jones should be able to avoid it no problem. Bones is just a freak of nature

Would be awesome if Broughton came back. He's one of those guys that doesn't care about stamina. He just ignores it and fights through it. Too bad he isn't a better fighter :(
