Quote from the sewer known as GSMB.

"I got to watch some of the game. Looked to me like UF kept it pretty vanilla again. I too think it was sloppy and I think Kiffin's antics are going to put the biggest bullseye in the SEC on him, which is saying something considering the coaches, teams, and recent championships the SEC has won."

Geez.

Correction. UF just got shut the he** down by a bad a** defense. Nothing they could have done about it today.

They're in denial. Harvin was just as important to that offense as Tebow is. Sorry gators, but you'll have neither in 2010!

No excuses florida fans, we are a top 3 defense. So proud of the team, even though we didn't get the W.

They are pretty vanilla because they lacked playmakers and Teboy didn't look good under pressure. They had all the motivation in the world to come out big and they didn't. Kiffin will take the bulls-eye just like Spurrier did at UF. Why would you not want to be the one everyone was aiming at? It didn't do us any good to be in the fetal position the last two years did it?

They were vanilla because we defended the option, the shovel pass to the TE and all of the misdirection gimmicks. We had a scheme that works, now we need some points. Monte is worth whatever he is getting paid.

Tebow couldn't read a pro-style defense, and today showed why he's not a NFL QB. They were vanilla because they were forced to.

EB and Hardesty just made future money and TT lost lots of money today.

If Hardesty continues at this pace, he will up his draft status two fold. Montario has had some difficult seasons, sitting behind AF for several years was very questionable though. MH has done a lot though coming back from knee injuries.

UF has a hole where Percy Harvin was that they have not filled. They have some dynamic players, but the Harvin hole may keep them from winning the SEC, much less the NC. And you can run between the tackles.

As much as I hate to say it. Look out UF, there is a team that wears crimson that can run it, and defend it.

Even Meyer would admit that you don't go vanilla against and SEC team. No matter who it is.

That is just ignorant.

UF's top 2 playmakers on offense(not including Tebow) were injured for the game. That's the reason there was not a single deep ball attempted by Tebow in the game.

Agreed. It's one of those with the most exposure though and that's one of the reasons, IMO, that UF continues with the "fan" reputation problem is because of posters such as those. Once UF loses a single game, be it this year or next, they will resemble "Charlie the upset UF fan" on youtube.

Good game NCGB.

now the excuses will start flowing at why the gators didn't beat TENNESSEE as bad as they did. just admitt that the VOLS are better than you thought, and they put it to your ass.

Heck, they didn't look vanilla to me. They ran all the stuff they usually run, but UT was just there to stop them. Everytime Tebow dropped back, he had UT guys all over him.

UT's defense exposed the weakness at wide receiver. I love the Gators, and have followed them all my life, I'm 54, but UT showed the country how to slow down our Offense today.

Great game folks....

I noticed that too. Tebow IMO will never be a true NFL QB. I think he could be a great FB or TE, but he doesnt have the tools to make it as a NFL QB.

All offenses are vanilla once you run them for a while. Florida did what they had to do to win the game which is run the ball on inside handoffs and Tebow options. The receiving talent at UF is very limited. It will be very interesting to see UF offense next year with Brantley. He is talented but he is not a playmaker a la Tebow. Meyer's offense is not like Spurrier's where you just plug in a QB and pass short passes to play makers. The spread Meyer's runs relies heavily on the QB to make plays.
