Jerimy Finch, the DB that got the Crompton INT, broke a bone in his ankle and hurt ligaments in his knee. He actually had surgery Sunday morning. He's out for the season.

I don't like it when anyone gets hurt, but there is always an issue when leaving the starters in late.

i'm sure they will just plug another 5 star into that void!

I feel really bad for the kid. That rests solely on the coaches' heads. There was no need at all for starters to be in at that point.

It has been stated earlier. Finch was not a starter, he is a true freshman that was 3rd on the depth chart.

If that's true I stand corrected. I think the announcers said he was a starter when it happened.

you really should know what you're talking about when disparaging another team/coach/program. The kid is a true freshman that's played mostly on special teams this year.

He is actually an incredible athlete that had changed positions in order to play this year. Hope he is able to recover because he could be an outstanding player in the future.

I read that Meyer played 48 freshmen and sophomores against UT. A hint of things to come perhaps?

And another thing, he's not afraid to run up the score, he doesn't think there will be a payback.

Not with Fulmer and Co. as coaches.
