Enjoy your success my florida friends. Last year was a down year for the SEC. Many teams like Ole Miss, Bama, Vandy, Kentucky and Florida appeared to be a little better than they were. This year these teams will not have it so easy. Next year florida will be lucky to have 9 wins. What goes up will come down.

The last sentence is correct, but I'm not so sure about its predecessor. They have put together some talent down there. It takes a special talent like Fulmer to lose with that much ability around.

Do you really have a law degree?....Amazing...First of all, The SEC fans have a lot of respect for the florida football team, they are clearly the class of the conference...now lets break this down so that even you can understand this...As I said the SEC fans respect the TEAM, the Florida fanbase however is another story, How can honest SEC fans respect a bandwagon bunch of new york trash who file out of the trailer parks around gainesville and fill that dump of a stadium you lovingly call the Swamp?...Deny it until you are blue in the face but the bottomline is, Florida is a transient state and almost every damn one of those fans would root for the Jets or the Giants "Whoever is winning again" than they would the Jags or Bucs or Phins...It would spill over in the college game too if UF lost a few and say Miami got hot, Suddenly there would be an overwhelming base of Miami fans everywhere swearing up and down to have been religious Cane fans since the beginning of time...Please, Take that bandwagon crap elsewhere...At least most SEC fans are REAL and loyal, florida can never make that claim.

I can vouch for this from my own personal experience. I've worked with a fairly grounded UF fan for about 10 years and he has gotten less humorous about UF football since Urbie took over. I can't talk football without hearing about how awesome UF is and how CUM and Tebow are the second coming.

See- it's all about perception and yours is jacked up with envy.

I was comparing the hatred toward the Gators to the hatred that is directed toward Notre Dame. I said absolutely nothing about comparing the legacy nor was I implying that Florida is comparable to Notre Dame in terms of what ND has accomplished. You people are so astoundingly hypersensitive.

Fortunately the UF crowd has proven to be astoundingly insensitive. We have guys on here warning us that drunken frat boys might do something stupid and reminding us that we don't pay proper homage to the whiny one and circumcisor.

If Tennessee was gunning for it's third BCS title in 4 years- wouldn't you be talking about how awesome the Vols were? What do you expect?

No actually UT fans tend to act like they have BEEN THERE BEFORE...But then again that's the difference in a solid traditional fanbase and one that assembles itself a new one every time they win a game :clapping:

You can't blame someone for trying to turn a profit because some coach said something stupid. You guys were already lamenting over being bombed with urine and skinned alive in past trips to the Swamp. Why should this trip to Titletown be any different?
