Florida AD Scott Stricklin has been incredible in scheduling these out-of-conference games.

Florida’s future non-conference opponents over the next decade feature: Notre Dame, Texas, Utah, Cal, Colorado, Arizona State, and NC State, on top of in-state foes Miami, USF, and the annual matchup against Florida State.

It’ll be a fun decade for Gator fans traveling to places we never imagined. It’ll also be cool seeing these same teams in the Swamp! Notre Dame and Texas in the Swamp! Hopefully we’ll all be able to attend them at that point.

Helluva road schedule in 2031. At ND and Texas in addition to whatever normal SEC road games (LSU, Kentucky, SC and Missouri) if current scheduling holds. We’ll be the road bandits that year.

Why did you italicize Arizona State? Just curious.

Notre Dame is a awesome venue to go to. Overall they treated opposing fans good. They have your typical arrogant A-holes like every campus. Great gameday atmosphere though. Hope you get to make it up there @Lawrence Wright . Great experience.

Notre Dame has always kind of seemed like a place where they are passionate about the game and want to win, but at the end of the day it's just a game. In other words they don't get mad enough about losing for the bad apples in their fanbase to act ugly.

Hopefully the @ND game is in November. The Gators rarely play in cold weather

Missouri and Vandy every other year usually in November. But valid point, South Bend may present more of a weather challenge.

That looks great on paper, but out of conference power 5 games scheduled more than 6 years down the road are often canceled for one reason or another. Tennessee was supposed to play a home and home series with Nebraska in 2016 and 2017, and a home and home series with Ohio State in 2018 and 2019.

Georgia is doing this aggressive out of conference scheduling also. It's great for the fans and will probably help UF and UGA if the playoffs are expanded and resume becomes more important, which it probably will have expanded by 2026 or so. I wish would schedule some more P5 OOC games. We don't have to schedule ridiculously difficult competition considering our current state, I'd just like to have a home and home with North Carolina and/or Duke, NC State, Virginia, Baylor, that kind of thing would provide some good road trips and a chance to win.

I think it’s a reaction to ticket sales. Three games on the schedule against East Texas State doesn’t work anymore.

If this is anywhere near a trend, this will be the death of non-power 5 schools
