They're a bad team. I saw Nico cause 3 illegal procedure penalties by not letting the players get set.

Seriously though, not defending the guy, I wonder how much Nico has to "unlearn" from his time with Heupel and Halzle.

Looked at times he was trying to push the tempo but UCLA isn't built, nor are they coached, to play the 511 hyperspeed offense.

Him sucking destroyed his stock with coaches. If DJ Lagway or Lanorres Sellers had done the same, coaches would have been rolling out the red carpet to sign them

He’s not great but he might be better than anyone else they have. UCLA is just a really bad football team with the worst football staff I’ve seen in a long time.

Also supposedly Nico’s dad is already causing problems behind the scenes there. That team is unlikely to win a single game.

Chip Kelley depleted the roster before he left and the Big Ten schedule still looms ahead...this is not gonna be pretty.

UCLA was basically their last option. Smart coaching staffs didn't want any part of their sh*t show. He just went home.

Their backup QB got arrested the other day and was indefinitely suspended. No idea who the other QBs on their roster are.

I know there's a lot of interest in Nico's play here, and he hasn't been good at all, but honestly the bigger reason they are so bad is because their defense is horrible.

What they saw was their only remaining option. They shopped around.

My question is what other schools would have taken a chance on a player who walked out on a contract where he was being overpaid at $2.4mil? And if UT was behind on payments like they stated they where is the lawsuit? They are suing Arkansas from what I heard.

I think plenty would have, in the winter. by the spring the big boys with money have settled on their guy.

him waiting so long screwed both sides. it looks like we have gotten the far far better results, but I think that is more due to coaching decisions and ability to develop/teach.
